The Two Worlds
Канада
Добавлен 13 апр 2019
Spirituality is not the only path to enlightenment. One could awaken through observing deeply in a field of study that reveals Truth; science, physics, mathematics, cosmology, biology, nature or music. In fact, when one is in love with a subject matter and delves deeply in it, from a point after, that subject matter reveals its secrets to the lover.
In mysticism, the mystic contemplates so deeply in the universal truth, creation and the Creator that he becomes selfless, and reaches to a point that he sees his Creator in all emanations of nature and every spot that he sees.
The concept of the Two Worlds refers to the fact that we as a human not only deal with the outer world of forms and matter but also have an inner dimension; our inner world.
Awakening to the inner world occurs when the mind is observed and becomes quiet and the outer world can be seen much clearer, when the eye of heart is opened and hence experiencing a life that never been experienced before.

Definitivamente el misterio divino, contiene paradojas humanas como aquella de que el dormir - que es una forma de morír - también lo es, de estar despierto!

I find your page valuable, but Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi should not be referred to only as Rumi. Also, it is obvious that he was born in Belh, Afghanistan and was not from Persia, which is today's Iran. His works were written in Persian, the dominant cultural language of the day, under the auspices and control of the Seljuk state, a Turkish state. But this does not cause us to call him Persian. Mevlana's philosophy is holistic and humanist. He does not divide people according to their race or religion. In addition, his grave and the first dervish lodge of the Mevlevi order, which was founded after him, are in Konya, Turkey today. If you can provide these details, it is okay, but it is misleading to call Rumi Persian without specifying them.
Thank you for your note; comments like this will trigger friendly and progressive discussions to enable us to know the men of wisdom better. You are correct that Rumi was born in Afghanistan and migrated to Turkey, where he was developed and is now globally recognized and received. That is why, as far as I remember, in none of these videos, I referred to him as an Iranian poet. Calling him a Persian poet is different, though, and the reason is that the word "Persian" refers to the Persian Language, and it is by no means a Nationality. In fact, there is no country in the modern international naming convention registered as "Persia," as the latter was an old name for the region. Additionally, Persian is an Iranian language, but not all Iranian languages are Persian. Persian is only one of the Iranian languages from the Indo-European languages root of the tree. And since more than 95% of Rumi's poetry is in Persian, it is fair to know him as a Persian poet. It is also true that Mevlana (Turkish pronunciation) and Molana (pronounced in Persian) name initially is Jalaloddin Mohammad Balkhi, but since we are translating his poems for the Western world, "Rumi" would be a suitable short form of the name which happens to be the title that he is known as globally. And finally, what we all probably agree on is that Rumi does not belong to any particular nation, country, or political boundaries; his poetry belongs to the entire world. His works belong to his lovers, readers, and audiences, and this is what he explicitly mentions in many instances in his poetry. I hope this explanation helps. Please continue to work with us to improve the channel and its contents.
