You are definitely saving a lot of money with your home haircuts. My husband and I are both retired and our kids live in different states, but about every 6 weeks I cut his hair and trim his beard. About every 10-12 weeks he trims my long hair. I get caped, hair combed out, sectioned, pinned up, he lets my hair down in increments to trim each layer to match the guide below. My hair is elbow length, so I rarely wear it down, but I have hubby give me french, dutch, fishtail and variations of those braids. Not only do we save money, but I don’t have to worry about the salon stylists getting scissor happy and cutting my hair too short. I have a couple close friends that have asked me to let my husband trim their hair for them because they like their hair long and have had bad experiences with salons. I am ok with it as they are my friends. And I think that I definitely have it good when my friends trust my husband to do a better job cutting their than they do at a salon. You are definitely getting a lot of experience as well as saving money.
Nice! 🎉 I wish I could save that kind of money! Can you teach me? 🤔

Hope your marriage last because if it doesn't you'll be 40 or 50 years old and unemployable
Our marriage will last because we prioritize and take care of our relationship ❤ Between my job experience, college degrees, and skills I've never had any issues getting a job. I may stay home, caring and schooling our children, but I'm also constantly bettering myself as well to add to my skillset ❤
I absolutely believe that every woman should be able to choose how she wants to live her life, whether that means she wants to be a trad wife, a career woman, or somewhere in the middle. That being said, I think it's inportant to recognize 1) the economic necessity in today's world that means most households struggle to survive on 1 income and 2) It is dangerous to be in a relationship where, because you have no access to your own money, you cannot leave if things become abusive. Being a stay at home mom/trad wife (ik they're not fully the same thing) is a big choice, and should not be made without EXTREMELY careful consideration of its risks
Every woman should be able to choose how she lives her life! I agree! There are many, many ways to save money to make this doable on one income, i.e. cloth diapering, making meals from scratch, breastfeeding, no putting your children in daycare, etc. I have all the access to our money because he hands over his paycheck to me to manage the household as I see fit. 'Evens' the playing field, if you will. Until you've been in an abusive relationship and escaped, you don't really understand. Money is not the important part, it's getting out alive. Unfortunately, the sad reality is that abusive relationships happen whether a woman stays home or not.
And in Africa it’s called just being a wife
@Letstalk295 It's such a beautiful thing! ❤️
Well, it already has a label.
Literally 😂
It shouldn't be labeled, though. So many women live like this and are proud of it! I'm talking about other amazing women in Africa, India, Poland, etc. ❤️
