@@AtrociCollector No, there's matte varnish at the end. Always put a varnish/clear coat at the end of your paint work.

@ how much does one put? I use it without adding water to it. Is that alright?

You shouldn't have to dilute your clear coat. Some recommend you put on multiple coats, but I usually just do one.

I use the cheap DecoArt/Apple Barrell stuff. To dilute them, I just use a jar of water with an eye dropper.

@@davidc3150 Okay, yes. The final clear coat is Liquitex Matte Varnish. To thin down the paints, though? Tap water.

Thank you, and I appreciate the feedback! The crest could look a little better (I do not consider myself a sculptor at all), but I do hope Mattel makes a mainline Corythosaurus figure. I wouldn't mind taking another stab at this design further down the road.

@@JadeoftheJurassic I keep them in our old storage room. It's where I keep my entire collection, honestly, and it's more snug than it looks. A Kenner ranking video is tempting, but since I don't have all of those in hand (and probably never will), I feel like I can't do one fairly, if that makes sense.

​@@JurassicKMBoth of the becklespinax looked similar because of the lighting in the show but the second becklespinax was way more brown and orange, whilst the one you painted was the first one to show up in the show with a more green and brown colour scheme.

As far as primer goes, you should only need one coat. As for the basecoat (like the Tan I use), I usually do 2, although sometimes more are required.

@Zilla-raptor7 I do not have the 93 Classic Young Rex. I am gonna use the first Extreme Chomping Green Rex for the JP3 Rex. Any dinosaur/prehistoric animal from the film canon is on my To Do list. :)

@@AtrociCollector Even the varnish isn't a guarantee against paint rubbing. I'm sure some varnishes and clear-coats hold up better than others, but I find repaints are more for display purposes.

@@JurassicKM thanks for the info! I have a clear coat spray that does prevent paint frm rubbing off the joints like those on the arms and neck but I did buy the Matt varnish that u use
