Leveling can only be done by first measuring the grade of the track. In this video I explore one possible hi-tech solution to log the layout grades. First track sortie for my Class 37, with a camera as a passenger. testing the block detection, and the resolution of my GoPro camera 2.7K Linear Mode (ie digitally distorts the video to correct for the fish-eye effect). 25fps Note no Light strobing effects evident.
