Finding nth term of Arithmetic Sequence A2FE18
Ugh needed this im 35 and I have dyscalculia so numbers are miserable for me Plus i have severe adhd so its a terrible experience
well done
Thank you so much!!😊 your videos have really helped me to understand counting back change.
-b/2a
Thank u!!
you actually just saved me
Awesome! I’m so glad it was helpful!
Im a teenage sophomore in high school and I've been having a hard time learning the time even the money since middle school thats why im in special education and i want to get of that class i have to be good at math and now im learning my money and everyday after school and how to count coins and dollars so i can earn that experience ipad ive dying to ask my mom for thank you this helped 😂🎉
You are so welcome! Just keep practicing and it will get easier!
@MomDoesMath thank you sm your the best soon I will be better at math in no time 😊
WOW. !! you. are. AWESOME !! THEE best demo on the internet. !! many thanks for being so clear and well defined AND SLOWLY explained. thank. YOU. SO much 11 finally a friend in Math !!!
Thank you so much. I’m 16 years old and recently had a job and was screamed at because the manager told me not to use the register and she came about it very mean, I cried because I was super frustrated, but now I will study this before I start my new job Saturday!
I used to have panic attacks in therapy over this (genuinely) who knew a five minute and forty second video could fix this fo me 🥲💖 the way you explained it was so easy to follow and your voice is so kind and reassuring, thank you so much for this ❤
Thank you for this series!!
Love this🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much!
Nice🎉
Thank you!
That's really cool, but you can do that with like 2 steps... You don't need to overcomplicate it for no reason.
I may be your first viewer.love the video ❤❤❤❤ from India
You are the first! Thank you for watching 🤗
Y * 4.25 = 2.125; Y=0.5 or 4.25/2.125=G -> G/4=Y
So helpful 🎉🎉
Answer like this: X modulos 6 = 4 and X modulos 7 is 5, what’s X? (Basically how the question is phrased, not that hard, basically a freebie question.
C; 40 modulos 6 = 4 then 40 modulos 7 = 5.
When dividing by a fraction, you multiply by its reciprocal. That immediately rules out 1/16 and 1/2, because their reciprocals are 16 and 2, respectively, both of which are whole numbers. You explained 1. Even if you don't immediately realize 36 is 1/2 of 72, recalling the12s on the multiplication table should quickly lead you to 3 and 6, and 3 is 1/2 of 6. That leaves 16.
Excellent point! I honestly didn’t think of looking at it that way!🤦🏼♀️Thanks!
@@MomDoesMath You're welcome :)
Very nice 🎉
Thank you !☺️
Thank you
You’re very welcome!😊
Thank you very helpful 💖
You’re so welcome 😉
Excellent ‼️
Thanks!
I’m actually learned this in school right now
Yay! You’ll be ACT ready soon 🙂
That is super impressive. Tbh, I can only do multiplication questions up to 12 x 12 in my head lol
😂
Shut up
1/12
Absolutely! Good job!
I’m only in the 6th grade but this will definitely help during math, thank you and have a amazing day. ❤
That’s awesome! It won’t be long before you’ll be taking the ACT and I bet you’ll do great!
Could have just +4 to both sides didn't need to go through the end
You could
You have incredible handwriting
lol, thanks 😊 I try 😂
This is easy stuff. You should do harder things and not spend a whole video on it.
I was planning on working the test in order
I'm curious if the people who don't know how to do this would agree with you.
@@FurbleBurble Well they shouldn't be on youtube if they don't know how to do it. Because first, they are too young, and second, they should be learning how to do this stuff.
@@The_Missionary_7 Or they could use this video to help them learn the material.
@@FurbleBurble Yet again, youtube is not the place for that.
This is an educational video. When teaching, it's best to show all the steps so as to avoid confusing those learning the material. If you know how to skip some steps, then this video isn't for you. Keep up the good work, Mom!
@@FurbleBurble it isn't skipping steps, it's just that those steps were completely unnecessary. Going +4 to get "x³+4=y" is two fewer steps than going -y, -x³, *-1 to get y=x³+4 There's no point in going to that effort other than putting the y on the left which is unnecessary because the side the y is on does not matter
@@maxinesenior596 I watched the video again and you are correct. Edit: The lady said elsewhere that her students get confused if the y is not on the left side. So I'm guessing she's trying to keep the y on the left side to avoid confusion. I've tutored people in math. Teaching people consistency, like keeping y on the left, is important in gaining understanding. Sometimes, technically unnecessary steps help people learn.
Love the concept, could have def skipped a few steps tho
True, just didn’t want to lose anybody 😂
You have to multiply it by the other two, you say, but that 10 should be a 20 afterwards So the answer should be -17≤x≤19
Gosh, you’re right! Thank you!
Ma'am you can skip 2 steps at the end there by just adding 4 to both sides to get x³+4=y instead of doing -x³ and *-1
Yes but for some reason my students get confused if I don’t move the y to the left 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😂
@@MomDoesMath perhaps a good way to explain that would be using the commutative property of addition. 4+5 = 5+4, so it doesn't matter if it's x=y or y=x.
@@maxinesenior596Mist if the time I start with reflexive property and just have them flip the whole thing then isolate the y, but I’ll try commutative property and see if that helps them. Thanks!
I've done math tutoring. In my experience, people that are learning can get confused when steps are skipped and not understand why the steps were skipped. So it's best to show all the steps. As people get the hang of it, the skipping of steps can be introduced.
@@FurbleBurbleThank you so much! I don’t think most people understand that I’m trying to help the ones that don’t understand 😊
Do you have a video/ playlist about integration? Would be much appreciated
No 🫤I’ll have to brush up on it and see what I can do 😂
@@MomDoesMath no worries, I look forward to it 😀
Thank you so mucj
You are so welcome!🤗
Wow Thank You!
You’re welcome!☺️
You should've been my elementary teacher back then 😂😂
🤣
Im so glad you made this video.. youre helping a lot of people and dont even know it 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Oh I hope so! Thank you so much 💕
@@MomDoesMath You're welcome beautiful lady ♥️🙏🏿
Been looking for a while for an explanation like this! Thank you!
You’re so welcome!☺️
I completely understand this & I'm terrible w/number's & math, but when I put to work I freeze up!
Just keep practicing! You’ll get more confident ☺️
My math is so incredibly atrocious that this still doesnt compute. 😂
this would’ve helped me like 5 years ago
I forgot about this strategy of solving for it very quickly after it was first taught to me and would always solve the original equation into a y=mx+b format and then graph it to get the intercepts. And I would very often get this type of question wrong
Thank you!
Actually its in the form of a^2-b^2
Stop being pedantic.
@@grouchypotatowolfpack5580 pendantic means ?
Thank goodness I never had to mess with this foolishness that never made sense..
😂
You missed a step of working out by not showing the subtraction. -1 in Australia.
Yes, I was trying to get it done in less than 60 seconds 😕
