Yeah, the animations are good, but there's still lack of attention to detail. For example: You can unload your revolver and when you reload it, the animations shows bullets in the cylinder, because there's no seperate animation for the empty gun. But i'm sure either the devs, or the modding community will take care of it.

I like how smooth the animations are along with the jamming animations but the icing on the cake is the GSC logo on the shotgun shells

Well... Its not correct. Soviet ammo belt (and some European) cant disconnect, panhandle either. Standart belt set includes 25 round, and connect on every 25. Usually you set up 100, or 200 rounds in your belt. There is 100 bullets belts, but they are rare. You can also find custom belt on 250, or even 1000 rounds, but they never produced by military armament factory, and the links also are disconnectable. They work simply: After every shot one link becomes empty and moving to the left, but do not disconnect and when you shoot 24 bullets the link of 25 fell off, because 25th bullet (which was the connection between previous and next 25 part) is already pulled of from the link and ready to move forward.

Alright, I know I'm being pedantic, but the revolver has two cylinder releases, one Colt-style release that's going unused, and a Smith & Wesson release that's being used in the animation.

He probably used his legs to hold the gun and inserted the cylinder with his free hand.
