I did shorten the song and change the key. I’m singing it lower than original and the acoustic chords are in standard tuning instead of the half set down that greenday does. I try to do folksy country/rock but I love all music! ❤️ thanks for the sub man!

@@Thewindwhispers. smart man. I thought of taking the thin part from the end of a thicker gauge strings and jerry rigging it but I ended up just getting new strings.

Then as I’m changing the string I realize it will never be long enough to restring after breaking 😂. Everytime it’s just instinct to examine it like maybe.

@@ljcmusic4778 that's wonderful! I've been using Duolingo to learn music lately 😂 it's pretty foreign to me. I really only know how to read guitar tabs and play by ear. Random question but do you know bron-y-aur stomp by led zeppelin on the guitar? That is one song I would love to learn. It's so damn fast though. And crazy tuning!

I am familiar with it but haven’t learned it myself. Finger style definitely takes a lot of practice. Knowing how to read tabs and chords is just as valuable if not more than sheet. I can read them all okay, but i end up using chords or tabs more often than sheet. On Piano I lean more towards sheet or play by ear.

I have a korg and it's been pretty much sitting here collecting dust because it's so overwhelming 😂 even with RUclips videos I'm so lost on how to use it. I wanted to make covers with it. My cheap Casio is what I've been used to lol

It is a Fransiscan acoustic from the 80s I believe. It neede a lot of refurbishing before it was even playable again.

@ljcmusic4778 I'm not talking shit lol I'm just sayin. Gotta tune that thing before you play it. If it goes out of tune quickly then you need to take it back to whoever fixed it before

@ljcmusic4778 physics says that things only going to go out of tune that much about 3 times and then something is gonna break. The screws holding the little tuning gear thingies will only move so much before the whole thing pops off the head of the guitar.
