I bought a set last year and raced tf out of my gti.. never had any issues granted I spent sevral days getting the adjustment - figment that I wanted that worked best for my ride .

I know theses cars have a tone of stock wring. Love to know what you all did wiring wise on the original build to get it running and what (if anything ) in the chassis still worked ( cluster, lights, ignition, windows, locks Etc)
