This is one of the best live performances of this great song (one of my Dio favs) I could find on this here webzone. The Master's health must have been fine in 2004 (before the onset of the thrice-cursed cancer that took him away) because his vocals were absolutely top notch here and very close to the studio version despite his advanced age (which is amazing - he is above 60 here).

I saw them at Utrecht during that 1997 European tour. It was utterly mind-blowing to be there with the Hells Angels who had gathered from Germany, Netherlands and UK. I will never forget the ear splitting roar of the music and the crowds!

I was there and loved every minute of it.

It surprises how long they kept the keyboard intro to be used as the intro for the "Prisoners in paradise" song. Six years exactly.

Superbe chanteur avec des intonations rappelant les différents chanteurs de Rainbow, (moins les chanteurs de Deep Purple) et nettement meilleur que Turner sur les titres de ce dernier . Pour ce qui est des titres de Dio, Romero est très bon, mais aucun chanteur ne pourra égaler le regretté Ronnie James Dio . Blackmore n'est plus vraiment Le Blackmore légendaire, il est au ralenti et ses solos n'ont plus rien à voir avec les superbes solos qui ont fait sa légende, le temps a malheureusement fait son effet ! Sur le magnifique Stargazer (le meilleur morceau de Rainbow pour moi), Romero est très bon ce qui est loin d'être le cas de Ritchie...quand je pense au superbe et long solo original de ce titre !

Two points , first I think Ronnie Romero is like Graham Bonnet , in my opinion both of them fit Schenker better than Rainbow and second when it comes to burn and mistreated I would rather see them performed by Whitesnake than this Rainbow lineup

I think he's a shadow of himself. The singer is great.

Blackmore is the best gitaris ever. I was influence by him since Deep Purple era. Coverdale, joe lyn tuner and Ronnie James Dio and Ian Gillan are the best vokalis. But Ronnie James Dio are the most Powerfull rock voice. RIP for Legendry Dio. Good voice also for this singer.

This band is not bad but I would replace the lead guitarist.

Sorry folks, but this is NOT! "RAINBOW". Although all members of the band are prolific musicians they lack the drive of the older/former formations! The drummer - being a member of "Blackmore's Night" - plays technically good, but he lacks the "drive" of his predecessors - Cozy Powell, Chuck Burgi, Bobby Rondinelly! I've heard Cover bands playing RAINBOW songs with more power, drive and enthusiasm than this caricature of a band! Yeah, even a "guitar god" is getting old. Years ago, a guy like Richie Blackmore wouldn't even enter a stage with such a bunch of uninspired players- but now *Richies playing only suits the rest of his band! The only outstanding member of this (wanna-be) band is Mr Romero

Sorry! But Glenn Hughes and his band would blow these nervous wrecks away with one song - Not to mention guitar tone! The band are more concerned if ritchie is giving them one of his silly stares or not, there not relaxed at all, great singing and drumming tho.. Sorry ritchie.. it really isnt there anymore!
