Justin Peach is an international Reiki Master who has been teaching since 1998. He has trained more than 600 students from all over the world to the level of Reiki Master. He also coaches other Reiki Masters with their practice and courses. Justin is a meditation teacher as well a facilitator of The Work by Byron Katie. He has worked in depth with other teachers to deepen his perception and understanding of Reiki.

I have tried to do my research, but found very little in the way of others who Used and taught Reiki in the way Usui did. A few names come up, mainly through reference of the same copy pasted story of one author / researcher. So I could do with some pointers to do the research and find evidence of Reiki before Usui and more in depth than this quote which is about all I can find.. "there were several other Reiki healing methods being practiced in Japan prior to Usui Reiki Ryoho. These include: 霊感透熱療法 Reikan Tonetsu Ryoho created by Reikaku Ishinuki, 洗心流霊気療法 Senshin-ryu Reiki Ryoho created by Kogetsu Matsubara and 生道霊掌術 Seido Reisho-jutsu created by Reisen Oyama" I don't think we should necessarily put Usui Sensei on a pedestal, but I would also hate to see his "discovery" downgraded by unverifiable story telling.
