I live 5 minutes away from Turtle Creek, PA and remember when they first started. One of them, either Bill Burkette or Chuck Blasko (who I think it was), worked for a short time at the Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding as a Machinist apprentice with my dad. They did great on this tour along with the Cowsills...good times for music for sure.

Ron Dante is amazing! He was all over the place in ‘60s music and nobody knew his name!

I always thought Mark Volman was pretty much dispensable except for comic relief, even at the height of the Turtles' fame. This performance convinces me that I was right. And not letting Ron Dante sing Sugar Sugar in its entirety--shame!

The Cowsills can still do it. Little Anthony is a national treasure, and still sounds great. I loved Gary Puckett's records, but he needs to call it quits; he just can't sing those songs anymore. That's probably why they only showed one of his songs here. And I hate it when singers hold the mic out to the audience. It's a cheesy gimmick that doesn't work. And did they really have to shorten Sugar Sugar--the biggest hit of them all? What a travesty!

I have a lot more respect for groups that know when to call it a day then those that keep mutilating their old hits. Atrocious display of has-beens.

This isn't the Rascals I worked with from 1966-69 and spent all that time in the studio when they recorded during those years beside seeing them 20 times a NYC club the Phone Booth and so many times in concerts. One of the greatest live band ever. This is a cover band. Felix still sings ok but nothing like he used to. That drummer can't carry it anywhere like Dino, no one could and the guitar player doesn't come anywhere close to Gene's driving rhythms. And let's not forget Eddie who had a voice like no one else. He used to do a song called I Believe in the clubs and it was so amazing. The first time I heard Eddie sing that in the club my jaw dropped I couldn't believe how great Eddie sounded. I Believe is on one of the albums. Don't get me wrong it's nice to see Felix still working and people want to see him but it's not the Rascals. Felix was difinitly one of the greatest blue eyed singer back in the day.

The Cowsills are the best singers/musicians in this lineup! They sound even better than the original recordings!!! And their energy is amazing! I've seen them live twice!! I wish they would tour on their own again! ❤❤

Howard is officially retired, but Professor Mark Volman is soldiering on despite health setbacks, with the very able help of vocalist extraordinaire Ron Dante! You know him from the Archies, the Detergents, The Cuff Links and many more! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

GREAT MUSIC AND GROUPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I listen to oldies everyday and these groups and I'm 71 and the 60's music is the GREATEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
