So why does mine look totally blurry after selecting median?? Doesn't matter which moon shots I'm using, I've tried two different ones

As requested, here's my comment, Yanster. I have to admit, I'm one of the people who don't see an advantage in BBF unless you have big clumsy fingers (not meaning to be rude here, I totally understand that having the better coordinated index finger comes with the drawback of not having other talents - like in my case lacking intelligence 🤣). It ALWAYS requires you to press two buttons. You could set that button to toggle between MF and AF and get the same functionality without having to press two buttons with almost every shot Also: AF-S is there for a reason: it is more accurate for non-moving subjects (particularly for cameras with a slower and not so accurate focusing system - which is almost every camera that is not mirrorless and costs under 3000USD). Just using AF-C and back button doesn't make it AF-S 😉. And with mirrorless, you usually have subject of face/eye detection, so you wouldn't need to move the focus point nearly as much - plus there is focus tracking.

Love the outdoor feel and some of the graphic text you used, Yanni. Now I want to go outdoor too. That makes things more complicated 🤣. Keep the innovations coming 😉.

I totally share your love for long exposure photography. Particularly where it adds something to the image. It annoys me that I have to shoot milky way with long exposures though - too long of a wait 😂. What I've done once is long exposure light trails and the milky way combined. But I have to find a better location for that.

Note to self: new item on bucket list: shoot milky way with a thunderstorm 🤣

Love your path blurs! Having trouble following along with one step: How come after you select the patch tool the entire picture is blurred aside from the subject? When I try to recreate these steps the only part that gets blurry is the outer selection of the subject (and the rest of the photo remains unchanged)...Any ideas?

After you did first go round with magnetic lasso what did you press next. I see where it disappeared onscreen and you started taking out the other stuff but you never said what you clicked on.

How many layers did you have? I saw 1 for background, 1 for cut out, 1 for the boat.

I think the blur effect was completely caused by three exposure and camera movement, but I just know that unfortunately it was caused by photoshop. But over all, your photos are great sir.
