Just finished the process. Here in the UK, today is the first cloudless Summer's day for months! It's beautiful c.25deg C. I found your video very useful. I would recommend pre-planning your two work areas i.e. application area - out of direct sun and curing area for one hour's direct sun. Also make sure you have either isopropyl alcohol or base cleaner at home to prep for the treatment. Plus watch this video several times 😅. Looking forward to trying my new, treated skis next Winter, thanks.

How often do you need to reapply? In other words how long does it last, is it time sensitive or is it more a question of the amount of use? One time application or?

Would a red light bed be a good alternative when the sun not shining?

I liked the shop applied Phantom Glide on my own skis last year so I bought a kit to apply to my kids new ski's this year. I had good coverage on 2 pairs of skis with 1 of the 2 provided packets. Kid's skis were 118 & 137 cm. So, if you're doing small skis you won't need 2 kits so long as you're not running it off the edge of the ski wasting product. A small amount goes a long way pushing it around with the provided foam squeegee. It was a fun little project.

How about answering some of the questions that folks are posting up here? What are there, like all of six? Wouldn’t take more than about 10 minutes or so. If it’s that much of a burden, then have an intern/assistant to do it… Not very good marketing at all, and from the head honcho, no less.

Can i use rubbing alcohol to clean the Base? You mentioned isopropyl alcohol, but i'm not sure about the difference.

Will tuning or repairing bottoms and edges after the application Phantom; affect performance. Or is re application needed after a p-tex repair or edge work etc...?

Great job making this easy to approach. We have been using the Phantom since first gen and recommend it to everyone. The new application is so much easier too. Just did a splitboard on our deck. Thanks for making this updated version and the easy to follow video Sean!

Great video! Is this product available in Europe? Quick question about the process: on a day with multiple ski touring transitions, how important is it to wipe the ski base between each transition? Thanks!

Great product and happy to see that it is now a one part application process with markedly reduced cure times! Everyone should be doing this to their skis now! I have 4 sets of skis with the first gen or second gen product and have loved the product since 2016!

I bought some 2021 DPS F100 x 184 last season and I haven't got to use them yet. I am probably not going to get to ski powder like that but I hope that they go through crud and slush well. Do you know if the Foundation series goes through crud and slush and powder and skis and moguls? My guess is that the Alchemist and Pagoda series might be a little too reactionary for me for those conditions.

I'm watching this in 2022 and it is still some of the best ski cinematography to date.

My 2020 Lib Tech E-Jack knife is trash now. I almost broke my collar bone because of Phantom FACT, took my park board over same area multiple times then my Lib Tech with Phantom again but was prepared and same thing happened without crashing. I had Phantom installed and base grind/full tune for a total cost of $253.35 and the board has been sooo slow. Dangerously slow sticky grabbing everything. FUCK pow this Phantom. I have five days on the mountain. Approximately 20 hours riding physically riding. Not skating or lifts. I decided to wax before going out yesterday and the board is still slower then my noodle park board. WTF. Calling you guys on tomorrow. I hope you can and will make this right.
