Jesus spoke about loving our neighbors and enemies in the bible. His love was not to argue or scream at the people who crucified him. But to ask God to forgive them. Forgive them for what they do. Pray for them. And do good to them. Overcome evil by doing good 👍
Pride according to its definition is being too confident about your abilities then something bad happens which proves you were not good as you thought.

Love means different things depending on the context. Familial love isn't like neighbours love or strangers and enemies love. How can you love your enemy? Mercy is love for this context. Faith is love too. You can't trust your enemy or a stranger but you can have faith in them and so as they there is always necessary boundries for human love. Do you trust in god? Or do you have faith in god? You have to trust in him and have faith to truly believe. You trust him because he will never break a promise, and you have faith because he will always watch over you❤
In what context does the bible say that. love your neighbor?. Meaning fellow man? Or tribes close to you or your physical neighbour. If it was to love all humans. They could say that much better than the ambiguous phrasing.. Do you actually know what it means?/and how do you know that?

Not following Jesus Christ like I should have been told
Jesus told us how to follow him. I followed customs and religion. But I am learning how to follow Jesus with the Word. Matthew 16:24 is a very good one--take up your cross and follow me. Jesus will make us fisher of men (Matthew 4:19). God bless you. And thank you for your comment.

It is not about my thoughts. The truth is the bible are true stories that happened. And continue to happen. God did not condone anything that happened. He actually punished them for doing those detestable things. Thanks to Jesus we are no longer under the law but now under grace. But you have to believe in him and follow him. Jesus was all about love. Not war. Not hate. He broke the chains of slavery. We have to focus on today and today is the day of salvation. History is good to know but we are living today and need to focus on today and the days to come.
