Hi, this is a custom build based on WE M4 conversion. It required some big modifications to the conversion to make it fit. In general I could release dedicated conversion for L85 but there would have to be the interest for it. Unfortunately its not too popular gun... Needs more love from community. Anyway, if I decided to release such dedicated conversion I will post info on facebook, probably also on youtube with some assembly manual. So subscribe not to miss it in the future ;-)

Maybe you tested the seal on nozzle side when you shorten it? Doesint it make a bad seal with shorten nozzle?​@@frogengineeringairsoft

Generally, I have no muzzle energy drop after shortening the nozzle which means the sealing is the same.

The "engine"/conversion you need to purchase from frog directly ( I would highly recommend sending him the gbbr for installation as it's a bit tricky) All the files for the actual 3d printed parts are available for free online ❤

Well I agree ;-) I watched an interview with owner of VFc some time ago and he said that they wanted to make a playable machine gun, because in airsoft nobody will have the strenght to carry 10kg machine gun around. And GBBR - in stock generally worse then AEG from definition. For them its obviously matter of money - if it was full steel they would sell them only to some collectors, and not to general players population as most of the people just want to play, not to have to train/lift/and then die under such a beast ;-) Guess this is their logic.

@frogengineeringairsoft yes, I understand, but they could make DX version)) Same with the VFC FAL. Stock version with Pot metal upper and barrel - 550-600 $, DX version with steel upper and barrel - x2 price)) VFC... But at least we have GBBR Machine Gun and some rare guns from them. But I believe only in m110 from them, the best gun they ever made in GBBR format. Also, my suggestion - GHK SG 551/553. The best gun ever made, tbh

It is decreased on purpose by adding weight to BCG and increasing kick this way.

Hi, glad it helped. Yes, you can do the same mod for HK417 too. The models are bit different though. I did it on 3 HK417 gen 1 and all work well after that. I could record one, but I have no patient to do this mod on so for now only HK416 was recorded and published ;-)

@frogengineeringairsoft Thanks for the quick response. Do you have the file for the HK417D V1 hop arm uploaded on any platform? Also on a sidenote does the worm screw from tip #8 fit into the gen1 gas block? Again, thank you for the amazing help!

All parts are a bit different, for HK417 worm screw has bigger length and diameter I think. I did that mod maybe like 2 years ago, don't fully remember. If you contact me on Messenger I can send you the files for it as it was never published anywhere.

Choke limits the output to 1J for given open valve position. Of course if you increase valve travel, you will also increase the muzzle energy, but probably instead of getting (for example on certain setup) 0.7-3j, you will get 0.7-1.2j or something of that sort.

CNC file is not available. There is no way to print the gas tank, it has to thin walls and will basically explode, it has to be made of aluminium. If you are interested in the kit please contact me through Messenger.

I use Ra-tech 6.01 for everything, If I can get stainless steel then I use it, if not then the brass one. For cheaper solution I go for Maple Leaf 6.02 regular GBBR barrels.
