Ori and Kaito Moto Adventures
Япония
Добавлен 20 май 2023
We're Ori and Kaito, a couple from Colombia and Japan with a simple yet thrilling goal: exploring the world on two motorcycles without an end date.
Let us share how our love for bikes began and brought us together on unforgettable journeys. Ori, originally from Colombia, wasn't into motorcycles until she met Kaito, whose passion sparked her interest. In 2020, she got her license in Japan and tackled restoring a beat-up 1983 Honda GB250. This bike kickstarted our adventures across Japan and ignited Ori's passion for motorcycles. Meanwhile, Kaito, inspired by his father's passion for motorcycles, got his license at 17. While living in France, he delved deeper into the world of motorcycles by fixing up a bike he used to ride. Together, we've explored Japan and Colombia, discovering the beauty of these places on our motorcycles.
Join us on our RUclips channel as we share our adventures, restoration projects, and the joy of exploring new roads and cultures on two wheels!

This Is How Japanese People Treat Female Foreign Travelers
We’re riding our motorcycles through Yamagata Prefecture, aiming to climb one of Japan’s most iconic spots, Yamadera Temple. Along the way, we met a stranger and her random act of kindness shows how foreign travelers are truly treated in Japan.

Motorcycling down the Death Road, we arrive at a town straight out of a movie 🇨🇴 |S2-E2|
I don't know what it is like in america now a days, but when I took my test in 1972 when I was 16 years old, (1956 😁) I was riding a honda 100 cc street and trail bike. Had to go through the serpentine cones and pull into a car parking spot and circle back out without touching and the fast straight line ride and stop at a certain distance and then the final one was to do a figure 8. I had it in 1st gear and locked the handle bars stop to stop in both direction and the figure 8 was so tiny he sort of chuckled and said, you passed. I was used to riding my bike on dirt trails and hill climbs so none of the test was any problem with that small of a bike. I'm sure it has changed after 52 years. hill climbing and motocross track riding really made the difference. 😁 good job. but you are only permitted to only ride a bike with 420cc or less???? what is the standard until you can get a bigger bike? you would never pick up a 1500 honda goldwing that way, 875 pounds, 397 kg. 😁 You put your bum against the side of the seat and then just push it up walking backwards into it. anyone can do it. thanks. 🥰😍
I don't think any country / state is more hot and humid than in south florida. It is known for it. funny example, step into your shower with all of your cloth's on, get wet, now go outside in the heat. That is what it's like going outside in south Florida after about 30 minutes or way less just walking around. It's why all the tourist leave south florida after april and go back up to the northern states to cool off. 😁I liked the mess jacket. That might work in south florida, but, I don't go on any rides, just shopping, the pharmacy and seeing my wife in physical rehab since beginning of december. I have not ridden long distance for about 3 years now when I first bought my barely used 94 honda goldwing 1500. I needed to make sure it was ok after rebuilding everything but the engine and brake calipers. woo hoo. thanks for the great video. Would love to look on line at that mesh jacket if they have that in a fat person size. 😁Oink oink. Wrong helmet for a street riding goldwing rider. 😂 thanks again.
I can't believe you dug everything out. I would have been happy you just telling us what you had, not that it was any of our business. 😁 It's not what makes your video's for me. I'll never do that at my age by myself in south florida. thanks. 🥰
I watched a tsunami video, and from what I remember, from the moment they felt the earthquake, they had only around 20 minutes to find a safe place. In 20 min the city started to become part of the ocean. In less than 20 minutes you need to think where you could go, if there is a high chance you can reach there in time, and if the place would be safe for a tsunami which you do not know if is coming, how high will be and how long will take to "clean" everything where you are. They did not have time to think about their families, to save documents, goods or money. There was only time to save yourself from a tsunami you do not know for sure if is coming or not and how bad it can be.
damn the himalayan 450 looks nice 😍 i didn't know they sold those in japan

Oh man! I can not imagine doing all this for a + 500 CC bike.

I love how japan adapt in using small kei cars. Unlike in other countries that loved big cars even without proper parking lot and even they only have 3 to 4 members in their family.
Kei cars are really popular in Japan, especially in small cities or rural areas👌🏽

Thanks for sharing your adventures! Ori, just at quick tip at 1:14, if you turn the handlebars fully to the right and then try to balance the bike, you'll see that it's much easier.
Thanks so much for the tip! Will put it into practice 💪🏽
You two are the best and the world would be a much better place if everyone was as sweet as that lady with the peaches. She was absolutely adorable. Safe journeys.

OMG 🥺 Thank you so much for the kind words!!! We will 💪🏽
I love how Japan isn't afraid to have booth babes in their events. Last time they tried something like this in my country, feminists complained a lot and our booth babes lost their jobs as a result. So much for female empowerement
What's the point
35km for 1 litre of petrol. My Ninja 400 does 26km. Maybe if you rode my bike it may get better economy.
I’m up for the challenge 😅🙌🏽
Alpine stars are the best as far as protection.
Que top paisagens brutais ✌️Bom vídeo 👌
Obrigado! 🙌🏽
I have never seen anyone teach that way to upright a motorcycle. It is usually done with your back against the seat and with your legs bent. The driving part of this test actually looks very good and I think something that would be a good change here in the USA where it is maybe a bit too easy to get a license. This one here has many skill building steps and it seems like a lot more pressure and control. Congratulations to you both. Skill building is low speed maneuvers, evasive maneuvers, emergency braking, crossing rails at at angle and most importantly reading the road ahead and avoiding and endless presentation of hazards from other motorists, traffic and road conditions. Ride safe!
No price at all hmmmm am a star so i need price
Happy to see that you could leave 2fully kitted out bikes safely in a parking area. Not many countries have the same security 🎉 kudos to japan
You’re right, Japan is incredibly safe for travelers! 👌🏽

why do you wear ear plugs?? how can you possibly hear traffic or anything? Your not riding a super loud harley. You 2 never ever answer your viewers comments. why?? you want everyone to give you a noraly "big thumbs up" but you never answer anyone. that is not fair. 😞
Ear plugs are the way to go. Are motorcycle ear plugs necessary? The short answer is yes, if you care about your hearing, then you should wear earplugs. Motorcycles often won't exceed 90 dB, which isn't too dangerous, especially on shorter rides. However, the real danger is wind noise.
No, earplugs are not the least bit dangerous while riding a motorcycle. In fact, earplugs are highly desirable when riding a motorcycle. The reason for earplugs is that the wind is incredibly loud at highway speeds even with a full-face helmet. It is strongly recommended by most experts to wear earplugs when on a motorcycle because of the known risk of permanent hearing damage. There are so many myths and half truths surrounding sound and motorcycles. Some people claim that earplugs prevent you from hearing your surroundings and that earplugs can be a danger to your safety. Not true at all. You can hear almost everything. You can hear cars around you, sirens, you name it. You can hear all the important stuff just fine while also protecting your hearing. The only danger that exists is if you don’t wear earplugs.
It’s not the exhaust sound that messes with your hearing, it’s the wind noise. That’s why we wear earplugs. Sorry if it takes a little time to reply to comments, but we're getting there. We’ve actually replied to your previous ones, so just bear with us a bit 🙏
I have an ARAI helmet. Its hand made in Japan and is the quietest helmet ive ever had. I still wear ear plugs on rides of over 30km for the wind noise.
@@oriandkaito-motoadventures sorry, I found out just yesterday that youtube has been blocking all replies to me from youtube channels. They did it to me about 3 years ago to certain channels and now they are doing it again to my adventure riding channels I watch. I'm a self proclaimed expert motorcycle rider. 😁😁 and I don't get any wind noise on a full dress 1994 honda goldwing 1500 interstate. that's what the fairing is for. to block the wind and wind noise. I lost a lot of my hearing 21 years of operating a forestry bulldozer and running it daily for 10 -15 minutes for warm up before they gave us hearing protection back in the 80's and early 90's. Now I have that hissing sound in my ears from time to time and that cicada bug. It doesn't take much to get it. If you focus on it, it will make you insane and suicidal. 🙄

Happy New Year to you too! 🎉 We hope you have a wonderful year filled with adventure!
to get a driver license for a normal car, there are two formal ways. the method 1 is you apply directly official drivers license examination/issurance center. the 47 prefectures have at least one center, tokyo has 3 centers. its quite difficult to pass because the examination bar is too strict. this is due to a problem of lower cost to take exam compared to via a drivers license school. the method 2 is you pay jp400,000yen to a drivers license school in your local area. you have to attend classroom lectures and practical lectures to collect predetermined units. if you can graduate the drivers license school, you only have to go to the official drivers license examination/issurance center to take the final examination to get a license card. in the country, 35 % of all of the road are narrow. and any driver is required to have at least k-turn, three point turn, pararrel parking.
If she finds that wood bridge to be unbelievable, then she should see some of the trestle bridges we have in the states.
I love my Kushitani leather jacket. From 15-40 deg c it can be worn. The air flow zips make it possible. I bought it at the same store.

I wasn't ready for that - the elementary school, the loss ..and the father out front revealing his daughter. Just ripped through my soul. She would have been my daughters age.
Watching that father speak about his daughter was a gut punch, especially knowing so many others experienced similar losses. It’s so raw and emotional. 💔
@@oriandkaito-motoadventuresYes, and I am so happy you kept that in the video for us.
Thank you for sharing this video. As sad as it was to watch, it is a stark reminder of the force of Mother Nature. As a father of two daughters listening to that gentleman talking about his daughter just crushed me. And knowing he was just one of so many who lost loved ones that day just broke my heart. 💔💔
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It really is devastating, especially hearing that father speak about his daughter. The pain and loss so many experienced that day is unimaginable 💔
Thank you so much for showing this there is no words to describe sooooo sad :( ! It would be hard on you 2 for showing this thank for this really i really respect Japan i do !!!!

Valued video. Have been working towards visiting for several years. Started on Honda's but have been riding Yamaha's for the past 30 years. One bike in particular that I am keen on seeing there is the FZ 750 from 1985. I have 3 of them.
Thanks! The FZ 750 is a fantastic bike, and owning three is impressive!
