Sharing my experience as a new off grid homesteader with my husband and six small kids.
What you can expect from me:
•showing how we are growing our homestead from scratch, what’s working for us and what isn’t
•thought-provoking conversations related to homesteading, off grid, and the homestead community
•slow living videos (sometimes just nature sounds or music) to share the beauty of country life
•some silliness along the way (what’s life if you’re not having fun??)
As with most things, there is more than one way to get the job done, so your thoughts, suggestions, (respectful) disagreement, and personal experience is greatly valued and always welcome in the comments section.

My first homestead build!! (Well… I supervised)
My husband usually does the assembling outside and I take care of the household inside. But with the help and direction of a very kind friend, I assisted in my first hands-on project on the homestead!
It may seem small, but I’m very pleased to have taken part in creating a safe place for our hens to lay. I can’t wait to see what I can help with nest, er, “next”!

Sometimes we find ourselves in a cycle of over giving, resenting that it’s not being reciprocated, then rinse and repeat. It can be difficult to NOT over give when it’s in your nature to do so.
