Very beautiful. I love how you played the last part up the D string. And bravo to your pianist, too - such a delicate and thoughtful accompanist.

It's funny how some cellist regard this as an intermediate level piece when in fact it is so difficult! Legato, connecting, shifting, vibrato, expression all have to be there, together. Good job Nick. That cello sounds like a Vuillaume ;-)

Wonderful performance, maybe the best here. But terrible camera work. Watch it and see how little,of interest is actually being shown?. The cello has some amazing technical stuff to do, and it’s is usually being ignored. We never see the pianists fingers, but see his face.. nice face, but not really what we want to see. Please fire the cameraman. And no more blurry “effect” stuff..
