    I have this laptop and the wifi antenna (black and white) are sheared at the hinge. The wifi hadn't been working for years so I keep it running via ethernet, but recently the power jack needed replacing so I took a look at the same time to confirm. Do you have notes on how long the wifi antenna are? I can't find that spec online for ordering replacements and, watching your teardown they run behind the display and underneath the motherboard, so it's quite a lengthy process to get access to them to be able to measure for ordering replacements. I also don't see the similar (blue and red) wires running through the hinge on the opposite side, so I don't know if those are present without opening it all up again. What are those for? Should I be concerned?

      Greetings I apologize for the late reply. I have had many such cases myself so far. Let me make it easy for you right now. The length of the wi-fi cables is important to you only for the reason that you can place the copper signal receivers at the end of those cables in the same place as before. You can insert these cables from almost all laptops, the cables do not have to be the same length (they can be shorter or longer), the color of the cables is unimportant (it is recommended to put the black color on connector A or 1 on the Wi-Fi card, but it is not crucial), and it will work great, trust me. If the cables are short, the copper or aluminum receivers at the end of the cables are glued anywhere on the display cover, it does not have to be glued as it was before. There is enough space behind the display to place it. Try to place the cables along the edges of the display, I would not recommend placing them behind the display because they are a little thicker so as not to damage the display. If the cables are longer, just wrap them around the display or along the edge of the display case. If you still don't understand something, feel free to ask me.

    Can i use thermal paste? Have you tested out that thermal paste can be used? Or the gap is to much is that why you use thermal pads? Hope that you answer quickly! And thank you for the answer

    • @mistersekos6990
      @mistersekos6990 Год назад

      There is a big gap, the screws wouldn't be able to clamp the cooler the best, so I wouldn't recommend using thermal paste. If the factory gets a thermal pad, it should be respected. That's the rule I use. And if I suspect that someone has subsequently inserted a thermal pad that shouldn't be there, testing is very easy. Put the thermal paste, so if it spreads well on the processor, then I put the thermal paste. Otherwise, I insert a thermal pad, where for processors in 99% of cases the thickness is 0.5mm. It is possible to combine copper sheet if you do not have a thermal pad, but thermal paste must be applied on both sides. I hope that I helped at least a little and that I am not too late with the answer.

    • @mistersekos6990

      Everything can either be made or other spare parts installed. The only question is whether it is worth doing or not. If you don't make it yourself and you have to wear it to a craftsman to do it ... then it could be a little more expensive. My opinion is that the cheapest option is for you to fix it or the simplest method is to buy a used spare part in your country. Each country has a platform for selling various used items and techniques, so it would be the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

    • @mistersekos6990
      @mistersekos6990 2 года назад

      Hello I don't know exactly which PC you are asking about, but in that case there are a couple of possibilities: 1. If the pc recognizes about 3.5GB then it is most likely that a 32-bit operating system is installed. 2. If it is an older pc, it may not support more than 4 GB of memory 3. It is necessary to flash the bios 4. Maybe one of the modules is faulty (try to insert and check one by one)

      Any laptop, where the temperature does not exceed 70C under heavy load is fantastic. Up to 80C can be tolerated. Over 80C is not good and should not be used in that condition. This problem must be resolved as soon as possible.
