Tell me how to repair this electric blanket not heating. I ve same this type of dreamland electric blanket.

Show how to KEEP IT FASTENED TO THE BED. All these videos do is show you the electric controls. I can't find a decent one to show how to fasten it!

Don't buy a dreamland heated blanket. This is my third dreamland blanket in 6 years. Again the same problem: i install it and the blue light keeps flashing while the blanket does not heat. Normally this only should happen in case of overheating, but it happens after 3 seocnds. After the first time I put my mattrass heater on a clock. Hence, it never heats more than 30 minutes just to get the worse cold out of my bed and never lay in bed with the heater on. Moreover, I only use it for about 3 months, during winter. Hence, I used my newest one for only three months last year, installed it today and ... the blue light keeps flashing even after I checked all the contacts. This way my heater lasts each time... until the warranty time is over. Do yo know about an alternative brand? I read in a post Silent night, but can't find it here.

Having it on 40 is barely any different in energy efficiency than 30. Also, if you'd like bacteria to survive in your towels and bed linen then go ahead because that's exactly what will happen. You wouldn't exactly wash your dishes in cold water which is exactly what 30 is, so wash your clothes in it?
