@fadianasallah1915 The Saint here is saying that before Christ's Second Coming, those who are foretasting Hell after death can be placed in Heaven through God's mercy in synergy with our prayers and good deeds done on behalf of the dead. For example, when we give alms, we can do so by praying "Lord, please count this good deed on behalf of and in the name of the departed Orthodox." In addition to almsgiving, we pray for the Orthodox departed in the Liturgy, memorial service, Trisagion service, and on our prayer ropes. These all greatly benefit them and many have been pulled out of Hell because of them.

Well to clarify meekness & humility with self-respect. There is maladaptive behavior associated those whose humility facilitates their being a "doormat." Differentiate the quality of humility from humiliation. Humility & gratitude are my two fav spiritual fruits--hard to maintain. I think the only ones who bear fruit daily are the monastic in isolation. Too many environmental and personal stimuli, both necessary and superfluous, assault those highly sensitive people (HSPs) more abrasively than others. I need encouragement to pray to Him bc I'm often not worthy to bother Him. I know He values me bc he removed my alcoholism & preserved my life last year via divine intervention. I prayed about alcoholism and it was granted quickly. I was in a clinical state of death through non-suicidal harmful activity. I don't have volition to live for myself anymore. I survive to serve Him in my capacity.❤

@IN-pr3Iw When the mouth gets tired of saying it, switch to saying it mentally with your inner voice. The Saints also tell us we need much patience and perseverance in prayer; imagine yourself digging a hole to find gold. It takes much effort, time and patience to eventually reach what you're looking for. Similarly, the more we pray the more we are digging to find the pearl of great price - God's grace. In the beginning prayer is arduous and tiresome, but God sees your effort and eventually will make the Prayer feel sweet and delightful. Flee despair, such is from the demons. And keep digging no matter what!

Alcoholics Anonymous calls this "taking inventory." We're not supposed to take another's inventory without humility. Introspection in depth to develop one's singular, unique ego is the chief developmental task of adolescence. It's imperative for success in identifying and interacting with others. What's noted with codependency syndrome like Trump's MAGA cult, is folks' ego enmeshment with their cult leader. Wholesome, fulfilling intimacy benchmark of young adulthood is met by secure individuals in healthy unison intervals. God designed us to self-actualize--becoming our bona fide autonomous selves, serving purpose in His creation.❤

Ostentatiously denying the ‘churchhood’ of apostolic churches outside the Eastern Orthodox Church makes you fundamentally, doctrinally WRONG. The Russian Orthodox Church invented the rite of Vesting In Orders for the reception of Roman Catholic (actually Eastern a rite Catholic) clergy in the XIX c. Both the Greek & Russian Orthodox Churches recognize the actuality of baptism in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit and do not indulge ‘corrective baptism’ false consciousness. If you cite minority opinion along the lines of the Rev. Peter Heers’ tendentious Hagioritisms you do not speak from conciliar decisions of the present era and indulge a radicalism rejected by church leaders of all the canonical jurisdictions. If you are saying the bishops and canonists of our churches are ‘out of line’ with their own prior consensus, you are second-guessing the competence of their leadership and judgment and placing yourself above them, moving toward schism. Such demagoguery is divisive, saves no one and harms the body of Christ, his Church. Thankfully only 3 sorry students are attending this weak and erroneous lecture. The instances of prosecuting your lies have resulted in the ruin of many lives. Cf. Resaca, GA

Imagine demanding accommodations into someone's home based on the host's prior "discretionary lapses in decorum". If you have a prideful attitude like that, then you are far from ready to join Christ's Body. Yes, bishops are often wrong and rely on the prayers, guidance, and teaching of their subordinate clergy and laity to help them, especially in recent years. The Ecclesiatical hierarchy is primarily a familial one and not a cold administrative one.

you should read the book “On the Reception of the Heterodox into the Orthodox Church” from Uncut Mountain Press. @@claesvanoldenphatt9972 1. The Holy Fathers in EVERY generation, including those of the ECUMENICAL COUNCILS and those in our own days, teach there are no sacraments outside the Church. This is not the personal opinion of St Nikodemos or Fr Peter Heers; it’s literally the ecclesiology of the Church; we show this entire spectrum of the Patristic Consensus in our book ‘On the Reception of the Heterodox.’ Furthermore, this ecclesiological teaching is confirmed and upheld in the hymnography of the Church, the Holy Scriptures (OT & NT), the Patristic commentaries on those same Scriptures, and even in our own Creed - "In ONE, Holy, Catholic Apostolic Church I confess ONE baptism..." All of this testifies to the basic truth that the Church is undivided, as Christ Himself said. A branch that falls off the vine can't and doesn't receive the divine sap of the Sacraments outside the vine of the Church. 2. Church history is replete with Individual bishops and entire synods of bishops teaching and doing heretical things. And in every case the Church rejected them as false teachers and false synods unworthy of our obedience. As Fr. John Romanides says, “[The canonical Local and Ecumenical Councils were made up] of bishops who knew the therapeutic method of the Church. The Council was convened with the aim of preserving, not simply the dogma and the order of worship of the Church, as happens today, but also the therapeutic method of the Church. A true bishop is an expert on the therapeutic method of the Church. Today, however, when noetic prayer is rare among bishops, if a Council of bishops meets and they stand up at the beginning to sing together, “Heavenly King and Comforter, Spirit of truth, everywhere present and filling all things…,” will the Holy Spirit come without fail and enlighten them? Simply because they are canonical bishops and assemble at a Council and pray? However, the Holy Spirit does not act in that way, with only these preconditions. Other conditions need to be met. The one who prays must have noetic prayer already activated within him when he comes to the Council, in order for the grace of God to enlighten him. Those who attended the pseudo-Councils were not in this state of prayer. The bishops of old, however, had this sort of spiritual experience and when they came together as a body, they knew what the Holy Spirit was assuring them of within their hearts on a specific subject. And when they reached decisions, they knew that their decisions were correct. Because they were in the state of illumination, and some of them had even reached glorification, theosis.” This is precisely what St. Theodore the Studite says too: “ [A] council is not just a meeting of bishops and priests, even if there were many of them, - for it is said: “better is one” righteous, “doing the will of the Lord, than a thousand sinners” (Sir.16:3), - but an assembly in the name of the Lord, for the sake of peace and the following of the canons, and in order to bind and loose, not as it happens, but as it should be, according to truth, according to rule, and according to true judgment.” So, just because a Bishop or Synod of Bishops says something, it doesn’t automatically mean they are correct, nor does it mean that we are obligated to automatically obey their directives just because they’re Bishops, as once again, the Saints teach: St. Daniel of Katounakia: “I do not mean, my children in the Lord, that you should be blindly and irrationally obedient as some are to those who teach and supposedly assume spiritual authority for the sake (even if only slightly) of their ego and self-interest. No! But be careful, and if you see from us advice and counsels that are not consistent with the pure spirit of paternal discernment and the un-erring prescriptions of the holy Church Fathers, you should not obey.” St. Justin Popovich: “We must obey men in authority, as long as they are not against God and the laws of God. However, once they stand up against God and His laws, the Church must resist and oppose them.” St. John Chrysostom: “[St. Paul] said, ‘Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves.’ ‘What then, (you may ask), ‘should we obey even if he is wicked?’ Wicked? In what sense, I ask you? If in regard to [the] Faith he is wicked [by teaching heresy], flee and avoid him; not only if he be a man, but even if he be an Angel who has come down from Heaven.” St. Basil the Great: “If we are ordered to do something opposed to the commandments of the Lord or something that appears to corrupt or adulterate it, it is time to say, ‘We ought to obey God rather than men’ and to be mindful of the Lord who says, ‘They do not follow the voice of a stranger, but flee from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers.’ And we ought to be mindful of the Apostle, who, for our reassurance, dared to hold to account even the Angels when he said: ‘Though we ourselves or an Angel from Heaven should proclaim a gospel to you other than the one we have already proclaimed to you let him be anathema.’ From these sayings we are taught even if someone is very genuine, maybe even of exalted status and held in admiration, yet who hinders us from doing what the Lord has prescribed, or who orders us to do what the Lord has forbidden, such a one ought to be avoided and despised by all who love the Lord.” St. Ephraim the Syrian: “True, unlike false, obedience will not listen to seductive heresy. But true obedience is like of a pure betrothed maiden who is not drawn after the voices of strangers [heretics]; for the ear which turns away even in a little from the Truth is like the adulterous wife who turns away from her husband; and the ear which is led to embrace all heretical teachings is like the harlot who is persuaded by every one who calls her. Let us, therefore, reject that erroneous kind of obedience which is infected by the words of the liar [the heretic] which, instead of the name of the true Bridegroom [Christ], loves the name of its corrupter [the name of the heretic who created the heresy].” St. Symeon the New Theologian: “In all those matters in which there is no deviation from God’s commandments or from the apostolic canons and regulations, you must absolutely obey him [the abbot, or by extension, Bishops and Priests in general] in them all and trust in him as you would in the Lord. But in those matters in which the Gospel of Christ and the laws of His Church are compromised, you must not only NOT follow the orders of the person who suggests this to you or orders it, but must not even do so even if an Angel has come down from Heaven and is preaching something to you contrary to what those who were eyewitnesses of the Word of God have preached.” “Implore God with prayers and tears to send you a guide [Spiritual Father] who is dispassionate and holy. But you yourself should also study the divine writings - especially the works of the Fathers that deal with the practice of the virtues - so that you can compare the teachings of your master with them; for thus you will see and observe them as in a mirror. Take to heart and keep in mind those of his teachings that agree with the divine writings, but separate out and reject those that are false and incompatible. Otherwise you will be led astray. For in these days there are all too many deceivers and false prophets.”

Q: How can the Virgin Mary impregnated by no man, give birth and still maintain her perpetual virginity? A: She was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, and Jesus was taken from her womb as a ray of light through an act of God. She maintained her perpetual virginity through this act. So she experienced no pain of childbirth as that is a sign of sin. She is a sinless vessel for a sinless baby. Her title is daughter to God the Father, mother to God the Son, and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 66 * Before she is in labor, she gives birth;f Before her pangs come upon her, she delivers a male child. So God himself is born of a Jewish virgin, clothed in the flesh of a sinless daughter of high priest. She is the apex of Jewish holiness, a most holy sinless Jewish virginal woman. (Moses himself says in Genesis - “the seed of the woman (and not man) will crush the head of the serpent” She is the New Ark of the Covenant which holds the Word of God, just as the First Ark held the stone tablets written by the finger of God. Let me give you the OT mirror image of this scenario where Jesus and Virgin Mary is the New Adam and New Eve of the New Creation The relationship being The New Adam being taken from the side of the New Eve (both virginal and sinless) mirroring the First Eve taken from the side of the First Adam (both virginal and sinless) OT : Adam is created spiritually perfect and Eve is taken from his side (through an act of God) also was also made spiritually perfect. They were both created sinless and spiritually perfect. NT : Mary was created spiritually perfect (sinless) and Jesus was taken from her womb as a ray of light through an act of God. She maintained her perpetual virginity through this act.

A Devout Client of Mary Shall Never Suffer the Loss of His Soul (Taken From The Glories of Mary By Saint Alphonsus Liguori) There was a certain man who was religious in name only, but, wherever true religion was concerned, hard-hearted and careless. He was, however, in the habit of praying to the Blessed Virgin and saying once everyday a hundred “Hail, Mary’s.” Coming near his end, he was caught away in an ecstasy, and devils charged him before the Great Judge seeking a sentence that would adjudge him to be theirs. God, therefore, knowing his manifold sins, said that he must be condemned. Meantime the Blessed Virgin came offering schedules in which were contained all the “Hail Mary’s,” and begging her Son to allow him to receive a milder sentence. But the devils brought many books full of his sins. ‘The books on both sides were put into the scales, but the sins weighed most. Then the Blessed Virgin, seeing She was doing no good, earnestly besought her Son, saying: “Remember, Beloved, that Thou didst receive of my substance, visible, tangible and sensible substance; give to me one drop of Thy blood shed for sinners in Thy passion.” And he replied: “It is impossible to deny thee anything. Yet know that one drop of my blood weighs heavier than all the sins of the whole world. Receive therefore thy request.” Receiving it, She placed it in the scales, and all those sins of the religious weighed against it as light as ashes.‘Then the devils departed in confusion, crying out and saying: “The Lady is too merciful to Christians; we fail as often as She comes to contend with us.” And so the man’s spirit returned to his body, and on recovery he related the whole tale and became a true monk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Lady explains the Hail Mary to Saint Mechtilde of Helfta (1241-1298): “My daughter, I want you to know that no one can please me more than by saying Rosary. The salutation which the Most Adorable Trinity sent to me, and by which He raised me to the dignity of Mother of God. By the word 'Ave' (which is the name Eve, Eva), I learned that in His infinite power God had preserved me from all sin and its misery, which the first woman had brought upon herself. The name ‘Mary’ which means ‘Lady of Light’ shows that God has filled me with wisdom and light, like a shining star, to light up Heaven and Earth. The words ‘full of grace’ remind me that the Holy Spirit has showered so many graces upon me that I am able to give these graces in abundance to those who ask for them through me as Mediatrix. When people say the ‘Lord is with thee,’ they give to me again the indescribable joy that I received when the Eternal Word became incarnate in my womb. When you say to me ‘blessed art thou among women,’ I praise Almighty God’s Divine mercy which raised me to this exalted level of happiness. And at the words, ‘blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus,’ the whole of Heaven rejoices with me to see my Son Jesus Christ adored and glorified for having saved mankind.”

In the opening symbolic interpretation by st. Theolyptos, the descent of the prostration represents the fall and the standing up represents repentance but the later quote says that devils don’t do prostrations… is it that the devils doesn’t repent or that they can’t “stand back up” after being cast down? Thank you to anyone who may have insight into this question.

I think it's because devils don't repent and that they can't stand up and be forgiven either.

Agree with most of the things you post on your video, but I have one criticism. If we make our beds in Hades meaning the grave God would be with us there also. He did not say hell. ruclips.net/video/v32B28r-fg0/видео.htmlsi=fhJpkPc4S3ezWJ3a ☦️
