Great faces, I especially like the troll child ❤❤. That's a lovely old sewing box that you have repurposed for your breakfast art materials. It's amazing what items are used to store art related items. I have an old nylon stockings box from the 1940s that stores an autograph book. The autograph book initially belonged to my mother's sister who unfortunately died in 1927, aged 9 years old. My mother then took possession of the autograph book, and carried on asking relatives and friends to draw or paint something in it. The autograph book is only slightly larger than A6 size, but there are some great interesting pieces of art inside including some that were done during WWII (mum was in the WAAF) by RAF & WAAF personnel. Autograph books seemed a popular item of stationery many years ago (I've seen others containing artwork), and were bought to be used instead of art sketchbooks for pieces of art as an alternative to collecting autographs. I guess perhaps an autograph book in those days wasn't as expensive to purchase as an artists sketchbook?

Beautiful work as always. Progression is always a struggle in the beginning, but I know you will find a way to get on top of it again. Unfortunately I do not know that much about painting so I cannot help you out. I know of 2 different channels that paint in that way that I could refere you to if you want to. Hugs and love from a little warmer but windy south.

I couldn't cope with temperatures colder than --10C outside, and even then with having asthma I'm pushing it. The problem is we're not acclimatised to extreme cold temperatures in the UK. Currently it's 0C outside and I'm sat here inside with my heat pump thermostat set at 26C and I've still got cold hands and feet 😂. Hope the temperatures soon warm up for you 🙂

Icy fingers and toes! -25 degrees celsius outside might not be cold for people living in extreme cold conditions, but it is very cold for me! Where is your coldest acceptable point for the outside on the thermometer?

I love the troll one ❤. I stay at home on New Years Eve because my dog is scared to death of all the fireworks, and I have to give her a tranquiliser tablet. I usually watch noisy action movies in order to try and lessen the noise from the fireworks. Wishing you all the best for 2025.

How do you celebrate New Years Eve? I am too tired to even manage to stay up until midnight 😂 but before that we will watch "When Harry met Sally" = classic and have a nice dinner.
