We were there in Phoenix that night. So much joy! Probably my 10th Jimmy Buffett concert, starting in 1979 in Portland Oregon when he introduced his new song Volcano just a few months before our own volcano, Mt St Helens blew! He was a prophet for sure. Just a few months after that wonderful evening in Phoenix my husband woke me up with the words “Jimmy died”. I knew immediately what he meant. RIP my friend!

I am watching from Far Far away India, Jimmy Buffet was of the singer I Loved listening to ,his tropical , country and slow rock songs .his crispy Voice , and his sense of humor with his bandmates and other singers , that he was a wonderful person. I Just checked on the Wikipedia and found he passed away in 2023. May his great soul Rest in Peace, He surely be singing in Heaven for the Glory of God.

Jimmy's the best!! Always a party at his concerts!! I remember one time he opened his concert with " This is the first concert I've ever seen when they were carrying the girls "IN" to my concert!!! RIP Jimmy-we'll always love you! Great music-Great times!!

Some of joy and happiness are gone from his eyes.sad he probably knew this was his last concert. He was trying hard to cover his illness to bring people happiness until the end. Thank you for the memories Jimmy

Saw Jimmy in concert 20 times over the years. I actually live in Phoenix and didn't go to this show. I said I'll catch him next time or maybe see in Vegas. Unfortunately there was no next time.

This is the first time since his death have viewed Bubba concert video. I started with the guy at DC bar called the Cellar Door. There was a functioning tip jar in place while JB and Roger B. were playing the circuit. When headlines began to surface after the first three KW records some smart guys set up Church of Buffett, Orthodox. I was an early member, noting that much after was just a redux of the same stories. I never was a silly Parrot head, although my list of attended appearances continued to grow. Enough background. I am one of the idiots that smells something or tastes in the water. There are still answers needed. Maybe not officially but certainly by some deep fans. Something is just not kosher. I will just keep my mouth shut for now. As I mellow over this, I will ask questions. Nothing else to say now.

Great recording! Many thanks for getting one of Jimmy's last recordings! My favorite concert artist of all time!

Yeah, Br'er Jimmy is pretty damn awesome. Just seems like a dude who got born into a good mood, and just stayed there for, like, 70 years or so. Hope you're still alive and doing well, there, Jimbo!! 😎

A year later, and I watched this last year. My goodness, I will miss this magical wizard of words into song. He saved my soul over the decades. Thank you Mr. Buffett.

The first time that I saw Jimmy Buffett in concert was in the summer of 79 in the middle of summer. It was at Compton Terrace, which was the beginning of a long history of seeing Jimmy Buffet shows. I saw his next to last show two nights before in Las Vegas. Between those two shows Jimmy opened up the world to me. I saw over a hundred show, including some in Europe. He was responsible for me learning about a number of other musicians, authors and entertainers. His passing is a real blow because I've lost my guide through the world. I can't make it through hearing any number of songs without tearing up. I can't believe he's gone to sail on a new sea.

Don't be sad Jimmy is gone ... be happy that you get to enjoy his wonderful music

Cheeseburger in Paradise could be found at the Port of Calll restaurant on Esplanade Ave in the French Quarter of New Orleans, La in 1993 . Huge ground beef from USDA cattle grass fed. Could feed two or three people. Or you can get a Slug Burger from Corinth Ms in Alcorn county. A slug is slang for a nickel. In those parts of rural America, ground beef was cut and prepared with flour to make it go farther in the depression and recession of 1940s amwrica. Today, A Slug Burger festival is still celebrated in parts of Alcorn County Mississippi. Slug burgers are served with mustard.

He clearly looks unwell but his smile and energy is as strong as ever. I miss the one guy who could unite an ununitable world. We need him now more than ever. RIP Jimmy

The radio margaritaville broadcast the day after, was crushing. I felt so bad for Kristen. I was on my cabin cruiser, alone, at the slip. Listened all day. At the marina cookout that afternoon I was talking to some stranger in the food line and remember her asking me how my day had been going. I only replied "well, we lost buffett today.. " then I gathered my plate, went back to my boat deck, and enjoyed my food and view of the lake with Jimmy's music in the background. Will never forget.

Fortunate to see him in concert.....truly an original and master singer-songwriter-musician..RIP Jimmy....
