@Southphxgal2023 I've ridden my EW 72 for over a year, no issues. I really wish the company was straight--forward and communicated with their customers, but that's not how they operate. I get lots of compliments on my scooter, especially when I rode it through Walmart! You've put a lot of miles on yours! I'm like you, I grew up riding lots of things, but you're right, the thrill is still there with these scooters. Stay safe out there!!!

@littlebuddyfilms It took me by surprise, that's for sure! Hurt pretty good at first, but luckily nothing serious. I think back on this video before I go for a ride now. It can happen fast.

Check Facebook Marketplace or local online ads. There are two under $400 in my area right now. These are used scooters.

You will need rear wheel drive for that. Yes. There is a pin in the seat post that you can pull out and move the seat higher and lower before replacing the pin.

@yiomarierodriguez2108 Any front-wheel drive 3 wheeled scooter is going to have some traction issues because instead of your weight over the traction wheels pushing them onto the road, your weight is behind the traction wheel which is dragging you. But when things get slippery they lose traction quicker than rear-wheel drive. That being said, not much of a problem in the rain, just the snow.

It does well generally speaking. But front-wheel drive is not the best for marginal traction situations. I really haven’t found myself in a situation where it didn’t work other than snow.

Someone in my family has mine, so I don't have it. I'll see if I can get a measurement from them. The clamp that holds the seatpost in place, correct?

@@scootercowboy three wheeled GoGo travel elite , could do with a little more speed but it's actually perfect , even gets me up a steep hill home with shopping so I am really pleased with it ,just got to be careful turning not too tight or i tip 😅

The scooter is fun to ride for sure! That's not the problem. If you're scooter doesn't break it's a good scooter. It's the customer service from Ewheels that's the problem.

Exactly. Zero communication from the seller. Seems like they are only interested in the money, not the community. No parts, no support. I'm dong exactly what you are talking about, fixing my scooter with parts from another scooter. And there are used Ewheels scooters for sale all the time where I live.

Actually they go much faster. More than just glorified mobility scooters!

@KatherineEckhardt Welcome to the scene, it's confusing!! I would look at buying used. Many scooters are unfortunately only used for a short time or a little bit. Then, if you decide the scooter is not for you, sell it for about the same $. I would take speed/distance numbers with a grain of salt. Watch my EW 72 video for info about top speed, 13. Won't have a 40 mile range either. Even less when it's cold. Ewheels scooters are fine, but apparently the company won't give you service after the sale. They won't answer my calls or emails, and can't get parts. I've heard horror stories from other users. The scooters are cheaply built compared to other brands. But they go fast! Caveat Emptor. I've got a video coming out soon about Ewheels and their problems.

@mikestowe6136 Yep. Sounds like you've got some nice scooters! I hooked my EW-72 up to a Lithium battery and didn't get any speed increase. I like the bigger tires idea.

@mikestowe6136 I agree with you. For the same money I would buy the Pride Baja Raptor 2 scooter because from what I've seen Pride builds their scooters better and you can get parts. I'd love to get my hands on one to put up against my ewheels. BTW, the EW-72 does have an automatic electronic brake.

@@scootercowboy i just got lucky n bought a new raptor 2 4 wheel for 2 grand shipped from a mobility store b ride health floor model with 3 miles on it n has the new warranty cant wait to get it should be here end of week

@@scootercowboy ya fatherinlaw gave my wife a newer victory sport i thought it was fast at 8mph lol i seen that raptor on ebay i bet its been on there for 2 or 3 months hell for 2 grand they made me buy it i do find it kind dumb as iv raced dirt bikes atvs trucks but yet ive never had more fun doing 8mph on a scooter on a bike path pissing off cyclist lol

@MrRF007 You're welcome. It was hard for me to find information about mobility devices so I decided to post my own because I figured there were people like me out there. Glad you found it useful!

What is it about 4 years that limits the life of the motor? I don't know if you watched the video, but this scooter is much older than 4 years, closer to 16 and functioning well.

That's a very good question. Part of it is the batteries, because there are 4 it's about $350 to replace them. It has a transaxle and a fairly large 700w motor. 10" spoked rims. Other than that it's like every other scooter. But it has every option, every light, alarm, etc.You can find them 2nd hand for less.

Two different scooters. The Pride GoGo is heavy and sturdy and goes 4 mph, the SnapnGo is lightweight and zippy, goes 7 mph. Hard to find a SnapnGo used, easy to find a Pride GoGo used. Which would suit you better?

Good point. Goes in the grass for me, but just barely. Slope, grass slipperiness, or rider weight can affect this. My EW 72 eats grass, gravel, and dirt up, but it has 10" wheels and 48v. This scooter is 24v and goes around 4 m.p.h. It can just barely do grass for me.

I love my big EV, it's just like you say, safe and comfortable. I am fortunate to have an Afikim S4 with the dual seat and golf cart tires. It's a comfortable beast! But it costs $$$ and it heavy. Not quite sure how I did it either, hadn’t done it before! But to load up for a wheelie I put the top pedal at about 10:30, push down, hit the throttle and pull up on the handlebars.
