I’ve been listening to Bishop Veron Ash into the prepare for war days.. unfortunately I don’t have any of my tapes that I used to have. I was able to meet him in the mall randomly to share my gratitude for all his years of teaching.. he gave me his phone number so I could finish telling him how he’s impact in my life and unfortunately, I lost my cell phone and shortly after there he passed away.

As one who was called to preach and grew up in the cogic. I was ordained in it but when I heard Bishop Ashe immediately connected and have embraced his teaching,knowledge and culture. I had a friend years ago who was an orthodox preist and also learned from him. I have always thought the pentecostal movement had become somewhat heretical. I came to the point of wanting to know the truth. I love Bishop Ashe and want to declare my discipleship and connect with orthodox and his teaching.

I could only watch his memoriam once ... couldn't watch it again too much for me to handle ...

I still miss this man who catapulted me to a sold out life for the Deep Longing for The Pursuance of God's Presence.....He Said The Closer we get to HiM ..The Farther HE Seems and the emptier we see ourselves.

He certainly touched the heart and souls of many. The Tate family in Melbourne FL will miss him dearly. I’ll be forever grateful for the time we spent together, our long walks and talks and dinners with my family and dancing on the church floor together will be a memory that I will cherish forever. Gone way to soon 😢 Rest In Power my beloved Veron I’ll love you always 💔❤️🌹🕊️

While God’s love and mercy are infinite, the Church teaches that human beings have free will to choose or reject communion with God. The afterlife is therefore seen as a continuation of one’s spiritual choices and state of being, not a guaranteed universal reconciliation. 3. The Orthodox Church encourages believers to focus on their own spiritual lives rather than speculating about the ultimate fate of all souls. 5. Hope in God’s Mercy, But No Certainty of Universal Salvation: • While there is a deep trust in God’s mercy and love, the Eastern Orthodox Church does not provide certainty or assurance that all will be saved in the end. The Church holds to the teachings of the New Testament, where Jesus speaks of eternal life and eternal punishment (e.g., Matthew 25:46), and emphasizes that these are real possibilities for human beings. Conclusion: The Eastern Orthodox Church does not teach eternal restoration (apokatastasis) as a doctrine. It upholds the reality of eternal consequences based on one’s response to God’s love and stresses the importance of repentance and faith in Christ for salvation. While some Orthodox theologians have speculated on the hope for universal reconciliation, these are not considered dogmatic teachings, and the Church ultimately leaves the final judgment to the mystery and mercy of God.
