An hour at the river just as dawn breaks, was lucky enough to photograph a deer and her fawn having breakfast, and grabbing a couple of pics of a cormorant and a grey wagtail as well.

Walking the Dumyat Trail on a cold frosty morning, January 2024. Ochil Hills, near Stirling. Spoiler alert, I don't make the top of Dumyat, I twisted my knee on a frozen rut. Its still a lovely Scenic Walk though.

Thanks, yeah I was quite surprised to see it. We've lived here 5 years and never noticed it before. Not a major landmark but interesting history nevertheless.

Thank you. Have just started up photography again after about a 30 year gap, luckily theres some great places to photograph near us
Nice video. If you had headed upwards from where you had your coffee for 5/10 minutes you would have reached a wide farm track. Turning left here would have taken you back to the Blairlogie carpark using the track and various paths parallel with and above the path you used.

This is natural, trees need maintenance and trimming. When they don't get it, nature does it for them.
Can't disagree with that, still a shame to see them torn down though.
