It was strange reading through the manga and animating it because the manga doesn't show how Ohma gets out from under the very heavy Kiozan immediately and starts taking the Demonsbane pose.

@@ghin He literally just rolls out with like zero damage done to him which is insane to me.

I exclusively use Toonsquid on iPad for all aspects of my animations now (animation, audio, etc.)

I will be animating it, but with how the choreography is looking (in a good way), it will take me a little longer compared to previous fights.

that is canon. because of Seki's wrecking defense, Okubo's Golden 8 seconds do not last the full 8 seconds (lasts about 6 seconds). on reddit with this post, people were discussing the 8 vs 6.5, here is my original reply: I think people are counting the seconds differently in the animation so some are thinking the full golden eight seconds and others are seeing shorter. I think the people who are counting 8 seconds are starting at the beginning of the inhale, but when I animated it, I do ~6.5 seconds from the beginning of punching to when the sparkling 'pops' (I have a seconds counter during this sequence that I hid when I exported it.). I thought that it would be starting from when Okubo starts punching, rather than the beginning of the inhale, but I didn't realize the timing would also line up with ~8 seconds.

thank you! yeah, I wish Misasa could have had a normal fight in addition to this. Misasa hasn't done much for a long time now in the story.

sorry this one is just a really old one (2020) so I never added sound to it. All animations going forward will have sound.

I haven't been planning on doing any of the fights that were already animated in the Netflix show, but if I run out of things or if I change my mind, Waka Muteba would be one of the first ones I do.

any fights you would recommend from it? I'd like to do mainly Kengan / Convict Colosseum right now but if there's any big standout fights I can see what I can do.

@@ghin I was thinking Mentaro VS Kurachi or Kureshi VS Samato. Both fights are pretty cool

I will try to animate most of Convict Colosseum with the exception of maybe Literally Hitler fight and Magic Johnson fight. I am most excited to do God in a Box and Firecracker vs Pistol Foot Pete.
