The bolt that holds the variable speed pulley in place has gotten loose and fell out twice. Is the bolt supposed spin with the pulley or do I need some locktight or something.

Is the bolt on the bottom of the variable speed pulley supposed to spin like the pulley when engaged. Because my bolt has worked its way loose two times now.

Is the variable speed pulley should just slide up and down or is just solid

I was buying the brg by the box for couple of years because everyone mowers were about the same age and from Walmart lolo😊 Still the best low cost repair mowers

You should have removed the gas tank for more room and easier to work

If you replace the brging every 3/4 years you’ll be able to mow all summer

Just found your video and wish to thank you. I am a 77 yr old widow and couldn't get my mower started. I had put a charger on it all night and no go in morning. Then I tried to jump start it and still wouldn't go. I knew nothing about removing the battery and your video was so, so helpful. Thank you for helping out this ol' lady.

Very repetitive. Use a Bolt instead of Phillips for fastener.

Be sure and grease pack the new brging

The bolt that holds the pulley on somehow loosened and fell off in the middle of mowing my yard and the pully was just laying loose in there. Is that just bad luck or did I do something that somehow caused that?

When I tighten the Phillips screw on the bottom the steering becomes too tight to turn the wheel. But when I loosen up on the screw it turns the wheel but the screw becomes very loose and I can turn it by hand. What could the issue be?

I replaced the hex bushing on mine and still is loose up and down when I try to tighten it real good it's hard to steer then breaks loose and bolt will fall out??

I need help removing the damn shaft because some asshole put a Phillips head bolt underneath the fucking mower and I've stripped the bastard out....

If you have a Lt craftsmen it is best to remove the deck gas tank and battery and what the battery sits on it gives you more hand room Your mowers easier to work on than mine yours is alot similar to my John deere L110

I jacked the front end up to do the aligning and greasing the steering components. the tire on the right without the tierod is held on with a "compression nut"? Mine popped loose and the whole rim and tire fell off. Anyone know a part number or what that thing is actually called? It's like a snap ring inside a plastic hub cap..

I have purchased 2 shafts from different outfits and neither one seems to be exactly right. The short side of the shaft that should slide into the bearing flange is too thick. In other words the bearing flange will not slide onto the short side of the shaft. This prevents proper alignment of the teeth cause the shaft will not seat down into the frame. Ive used the same numbers you posted and bought from 2 different places. Both were like this. Where did you get yours from?
