I want to say thank you cuz this was really helpful. I just discovered today what gif tuber was. I've had live 2d and PNG but wanted something in the middle. It's great that I can use the same software I have for PNG for the gif one.

I'm not criticize about your explanation. BUT i'm just adding (maybe) this is some useful information. I've been following your process, but when time stretch explanation... at me, the animation of the sakura leaves isn't showing up. CMIIW... I've been search more explanation about this issue, so maybe this is one of the solution is. FOR ANIMATIONS THAT DOESN'T APPEAR / WORK AFTER EDIT TIME STRETCHED, BEFORE ACTIVATE THE PRE COMPOSE, IT'S BETTER TO SAVE AS THE FILE FIRSTLY. At me, i activated the Transparency Grid. click at the Leaves scene (Firstly, just back it into the 100 for the time stretch) -> go to the Layer tab -> Pre-Compose -> Move all attributes into the new composition (if there have a checkbox of "Adjust composition duration to the time span of the selected layers" just check it). After this it can be edited for time stretch more than 1800, and it works! i've been tested it until 5000. Maybe it can be more than 5000. Thank you

I have problems on the first method because I did copy pasted it perfectly, but it doesn't show at all! I tried checking on the images that I copied the link to the right locations and then also tried double checking the link discord stream kit provides

Fun fact: when I first got my new phone, I was spending a lot of time driving my mom around and was bored waiting on her to leave shops and the like. I downloaded a pixel art app to my phone so I could pass time. It's actually VERY EASY for a non-animator like myself to animate entire minute-long gifs by pixeling each frame and saving it in numerical order then importing it into a free animation app. I've done it a few times with surprisingly nice results! For anyone who wants to try to do this on their phone, I used Dotpict and Flippaclips. Happy gif-making! 👋
