One question, so all the Christians who are gathering in buildings ,are they going to hell?, I'm just an honest asking an question, don't Stone me.

I think Francis chan has " some " good teachings, but I quickly stopped because of some of his unbiblical controversial teachings and his association with false teachers. With that being said,I do agree with the home church thing, I'm currently looking for one.

The current church paradiem is a heirachy and is not the biblical model. It produces stunted immature believers who look up to the pastors to feed them and guide them instead of getting alone with the Holy Spirit to be taught by him. The church model has become a business that has compromised the gospel to attract the numbers needed to keep the business going. It will soon be fullled with every immoral thing and lead many to deception and delusion imo. The Bible teaches the new covenant called out ones are to be a family with no heirachy and Christ above ALL. Anything that gets between us and God is an idol and subtly produces blindness that creeps in so slowly and unnoticeable that by and large huge numbers of churches and denominations don’t even understand how disconnected from the living God that they are. Just because a method has been used for hundreds of years dosent mean it’s scriptural or effective. Jesus said WE are the temple. Our bodies. All the organizing and methodology is blinding and killing the body of Christ. It’s not about efficiency, numbers, money, recognition or results. It’s about knowing him. Ministering to Him, going deeper into him, setting at his feet and doing what , when where he guides, AFTER we learn to BE with Him.

The word CHURCH gets in the way mightily. It’s a wrong translation to begin with. Every where the word church is used should be “called out ones”. Church conjures up the building where we all do our religious services. It has a heirachy. And the bigger it is the more it runs like a business. Just using the right word begins to move things in a better direction.

To those who love Jesus at Centre61, greetings from Middle America (Lake Zurich, IL). I have been occasionally watching the teaching for several months now and so appreciate the wisdom and maturity that Neil spoke about in this teaching in Colossians. I felt the Holy Spirit led me to watch this today. He is perfect in his timing as I am preparing for a gathering I will be attending tomorrow. The statement Neil made, "People want the Jesus they prefer, to be the Jesus they follow.", perfectly describes the people I will be meeting with. I have been burdened by this attitude and have been struggling to find a way to express the Biblical truth that there is only one Jesus, and no elite classes. The text in Colossians is perfect. I am grateful to Jesus for the light that your gathering is in Northern Ireland, and have been praying for his blessing on you as you follow him. P.S. I was especially touched by the testimony of the woman who talked about sharing sunflowers, and her prayers for the woman with pain in her legs. It was so encouraging to me. Jesus wants our "yes", not perfection. Amen!!

People who have been doing Church "Mans Way" for decades and decades; need to repent for their rebellion; idolatry and pride ... not become so called leaders regarding that which they do not yet know. I am thankful that there is evident repentance; however planting home churches for over 40 years "the Lords way" gives me considerably more insight as to how to let the Lord build His own house. The problem I have seen is it takes little time to leave the harlot and unfaithful systems with their errant assembly machinations; but it takes considerably longer to get the "harlot" out of people. Hence these often just bring the Harlot Church into the Home assembly. I am grateful for the mass migration to NT Church but have seen few who understand its operation. Revelatory excitement does not equal Oil nor true equipping.

How great is this? I thoroughly enjoy and respect Francis. Also, though I'm an American, I lived in N.I. for 4 years and New Castle was one of my favorite places (shout out to Maud's ice cream if it's still there!) I know exactly what Francis means about the quiet. I have very fond memories of hiking up Slieve Donard.

I've often wondered how would we face Our LORD Jesus having attended church, having tithed, having an overflowing savings account while someone in the congregation is being evicted, or going hungry, what about the widows&orphans in the congregation...do we even know them?.......

I always wondered about that. I remembered a Sister and I took $400 and fed 100 homeless with a good dinner and toiletries. It was easy and we were not a minustry.. Just 2 ppl adding work to our faith.

I love ya, but I have to disagree (17:45). people traveled far and wide to visit with the Apostles and leaders of the church in the 1st & 2nd Centuries. Especially once they heard the miraculous works God was doing through these holy men. Now, maybe the spirit of the people coming to take pictures with you was not in the right place, but people want to come visit you because you are doing great things in the Lord's name. keep it up brother!
