More reliable in the non premiere trim i would say! Less to fail, increasing the reliability. I am currently over 363k miles on my 2018 LT I purchased (with 3 miles on it) at the end of 2018 and it's only ever been in the shop twice. Once when I had a failed wheel speed sensor, and again when i hit 250,000 and had the time off of work to do the battery recall. Went ahead and did my first 100k service since it was in the shop then. My 2014 Spark EV before this prepared me for driving an EV so immediately jumping in driving in Low and single pedal driving I can say I am one of the few people I know with a very high mileage EV on the original brake pads. Add to that enough solar that pays for my commute, easily the best, most reliable and financially affordable vehicle I have ever owned.

I am a proud owner of exactly the same 2019 Bolt EV Premier. Bought it brand new and am still honeymooning with it. By far the best car in my life (and I've had many).

this video is so helpful! I'm in the market for a bolt right now and found a 2019 with a new battery from last week. seems great. sad about the camera quality - if only they upgraded to HD earlier. do you find it's still ok even if camera quality is meh?

Bought a brand new 2023 Bolt EV, traded in a beater for 19k out the dealership. Been a great car so far! The only downside is the slow charging but I don’t go on road trips much so it’s not a big deal. Saving a ton of money on gas and oil changes.

So how much did you lose when going 70 mph and cold weather

??? Are 2017 Chevy Bolt's that have not got the newer battery during the re-call yet, still eligible ? (was there a time-limit placed by GM on when the owners or dealership's had to take care of the defect ?) what's so crazy about shopping for a used 2017 or 2018 Bolt from non Chevy dealership's, is how clueless they can be when you ask them if the 2017 or 2018 bolt's they're selling have the newer GM battery/engine or the fire hazard original: (they have no idea in many cases)

Nice. Stick is nice, you can be in the right gear, not accidentally hit parking brake tryna shift (vs 2023)

You can see what 80% is. 1) open energy page 2) lower max charge to 80% to see what the screen says the miles is at 80% 3) charge to that mileage or higher (side note every time you unlock the doors the steering wheel screen comes on for quick reference)

Your info needs some correcting. The new battery is 64 KW not 66 KW (KW tag is on battery pack under driver side back passenger door). Mandatory battery change is only through 2019 because 2020 and newer already have the new battery, 2020 and up just has the 80% charge limit software with battery monitoring that auto returns to 100% after around 6200 miles. Those car battery modules will only be replaced if the software detects a problem.

Enjoyed the video. I will need to replace my daily driver this summer, and have already gone to a dealership that has several 2020 Bolts available. Still pondering several options at this point, but the Bolt Premiere is certainly in the running.
