The pacing was fine for me. Arcane season 2 builds on sn1 without handholding you, no filler, no fluff, no over-simplification, no over repetitively *FORCED* toddler-ish "comedy" and no spoon feeding while encouraging deductive participation from the audience/ viewers to follow the plot complimented by an ABSOLUTE BANGER of hyper-cinematic induction all culminating to higher immersive experience. There are many online still scratching their head about how or why Silco and Vander became buddies again in the alternate timeline yet they COMPLETELY forgot about the LETTER from Vance addressed to Silco IN SEASON 1 which Silco never read in the main timeline so it becomes BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that he read the letter and "found the will to forgive" in the alternate timeline. Brilliant compact and impactful writing. But instead many are demanding to be spoon-fed. The only main issue for me (personal bias) is the finale should have been longer and bigger battle filled will much more multiple character moments AND we should have SEEN how Ekko united Zaun after saving Jinx including seeing Jinx make a new arm for Sevika. Also we never got to know WHO the other leading families of Piltover are but i am okay and content with what we got on screen. Especially considering how INSANELY EXPENSIVE the budget was (Arcane sn1+2 budget= $250m, most expensive animation ever) so it's understandable how and why they made the writing tight and compact while giving the audience some participatory deduction and generate interest to research into the lore. What they delivered is still very peak in my opinion. We all wanted more eps but there is cost-benefit situation with that. Perhaps in future projects they could make each ep 10mins longer from 40mins-50mins then the final can be like 1hr. This can be a perfect middle ground to give more time to more avenues of the plot without adding more full eps. It might cost a little more but still significantly LESS than making additional FULL eps. Either way, both Arcane sn1+2 have been incredibly amazing. Both get at LEAST 9/10 rating from me irrespective of whatever flaws each season has.

I liked the inclusion of Black Rose. (1) It explains WHY Ambessa left Noxus to visit Piltover. Mel has been suspicious about her mother's visit FROM SEASON 1. (2) Provided character development for Mel (3) And sets the groundwork for the next animated project which will build on what happened between Leblanc/ black rose, Mel and Ambessa. If the black rose angle never happened, Mel's powers would NOT have FULLY activated and Jayce would have died in the council room when Viktor's "glorious evolution" white-bot was strangling Jayce to death. (4) The Black Rose is participatory in the story as a major SUB-PLOT tied to TWO major characters (Ambessa and Mel) which is much better than getting a random 2 minutes after credits scene that only hinting the black rose at the end of the season final episode.

My biggest gripe about the last 2 episodes is how they skip jinx's character development from the LOWEST state we've ever seen her in and then the next time we see her she's basically fine, and goes to fake her death to runaway and live. Jinx is easily the show's most complex character, well would've been anyway, silco might keep his crown after what they did with jinx in act 3. Their most complex character and they choose to offscreen such a major character development ENTIRELY. I think this decision was pretty lazy by the writers because sure they're on a time crunch and only have 9 episodes but whats the point in killing isha for the goal of making jinx depressed and suicidal just to wipeaway the depression entirely offscreen, they may as well have not killed isha if you're not going to write believable characters and show their character development onscreen. The emotional impact of jinx's " death " was also near non-existent to what it could've been. That scene should've hit way harder, jinx sacrificing herself infront of her sister, faking her death so that her sister can finally be happy and not have jinx in her mind and then running away to live fresh and start anew. These sisters we've been following for 2 seasons yet the moment was executed poorly and was lacking in emotional impact due to little to no buildup to the moment. Jinx offscreen character development also hurts this moment. A lot of the finale's problems would've been sold with another act, would've given time for more character interactions, an epilogue, not skipping things over as much. But it still might not have been enough time. 3 seasons probably would've been the perfect scenario, but yea i think 1 more act could've salvaged it for me. Viktors motivations make sense it was just they were rushed and executed not that great. I like the mage viktor saying what he says to jayce though, and how viktor and jayce end things together. Its not an uncommon villain trope to want to get rid of human nature and free will so that the world will be free of hatred, etc. Thats basically what viktors goal was. Season 2 episodes 1 through 7 are just as good and in some ways better than season 1 but episodes 8 and 9 drop the ball in my opinion so season 1 has to be better. Animation, music, sound design, direction; everything about the production cooked but the writers fell short unfortunately. (obviously due to netflix + corps forcing them into only having the 2nd season but still. I find it hard to believe that the writers couldn't have altered their script to fit the time they had better and made different decisions to make it feel less rushed, or that they couldn't have requested and insisted that they needed another episode, act, season, etc).

maybe the hextech and pendant stuff means Powder might try to create a time machine that goes back before the robbery to save her sister, random thought, not even sure it makes much sense

Big comment coming for a big video ahaha an awesome detail during the dance is the frame rate is dropped to 4 frames per second which matches with Ekko's z-drive time travel length i learnt this after the show because i thought Heimerdinger was dead, Yordles, which he is one of, apparently cannot die. they are spirit beings that just appear and aren't even born. when they "die" they reappear in Yordle city which is in like a spirit realm (if any league lore connoisseurs can correct or support this plz reply) with the raven, a character named swain tends to use them as spies and he is also the ruler of Noxus so i'm hoping we will see more of that in the coming shows the way i saw Viktor's "glorious evolution" was him being the final evolution, he tried a peaceful way with his community but Jayce did what he did. Viktor saw that as humanity is too dangerous due to it's imperfections through violence and the only way to cure that (he was obsessed with curing things such as his leg and Singed with his daughter) was through his vision/hive mind. There would be no more violence with just him in control. Ambessa wouldn't have had her way because she was backed into a corner and wanted any power she could get to fight the black rose. (fear made her stupid, she wanted hextech but had to use Viktor in an attempt to get it) personally i don't understand the Sky disappearance, i always saw her as a symbol of imagination that Viktor lacked because he was always focused on science but if Viktor wanted himself to be the sole final evolution there would be no need for her anymore. idk it doesn't make sense to me. EDIT: i just realised that maybe Jayce will take her place wherever they end up but idk the random piano guy, he could just represent the people rising up for the good of mankind but i watched a video recently that he could be a character named Jhin who in a cinematic called 'Awaken' is seen playing the piano in a theatre. The show would be rewriting his lore a bit but that wouldn't be the first they've done so. the in game character wears a mask so it could be a completely different guy with the caitvi scene in the jail cell i also heard the same thing that it was going to be rated r. they cut a lot out of the show which was dumb to remove, we apparently had 10-20 mins of Ekko and Jinx together where they paint each other and build new tech as Jinx's new minigun is built from one of Ekko's hoverboards the rune things that Ambessa had i believe is an item in the game that protects the wearer from magic attacks (i've played maybe 4 hours of the game ever so im not 100%) the music this entire season has been so good man. its perfection. Ekko stopping Jinx from taking her life 5 times was so emotional to me, Ekko even took damage from one of the blasts and when Jinx saw he was injured she jumped so he wouldn't get hurt again. i actually hated Loris' death, the only acknowledgment was piano man moving his body gently and Vi seeing him. my issue with the season is, to me it wasn't rushed but it didn't have enough time to breathe or be super fleshed out. would have loved to get to know him more then get more emotional when they take him from us Caitlyn is a long range character in game, in act 2 when Vi uses the electric net on Ambessa from Cait's attachment. that is actually one of her abilities which is cool. imma say this loud FUCK Maddie but i won't lie, i did laugh at her death because it was so unexpected it caught me off guard. Jinx's entrance was so good, on her balloon it had symbols that Isha had on her goggles as well as the bunny ears. and Jinx's design had Isha's purple line under her eye too. on her body she also had markings that resembled Ekko's tattoos which is why i think they shouldn't have cut out the timebomb scenes Cait's fight with Ambessa was also a great call back to when they were training together and Ambessa mentioned sacrifice being the 4th principle of combat. So in order for Cait to take the runes off of Ambessa she had to sacrifice an eye. also when Ambessa threw that spear and Mel used the shield and it hit the Noxian guard. that was so sick. also there is a music video 'blood, sweat and tears' that shows more of Ambessa but i dont really understand whats going on. in defence of Jayce not attacked creepy Viktor, he did already try to kill him. Literally put a hole through his chest and this mf just got stronger. and on the top of the hexgate is when Jayce realised what he must do from it being the same location, and position he was kneeled in, as the future R1 and remembered his promise or fully realised the meaning behind it. we all know jinx is alive but some more evidence was when her vision of Silco saying the cycle only ends when one walks away and that is exactly what she did. the airship was the exact same shot as s1e1 where Powder says "1 day i'll ride in one of those things" small note the song Vi was humming was the same song Powder sang on the bridge where their parents died where i think Jinx is going to is Ionia, after looking at the world map and final shot, the airship was over open water. north and south are landmasses, west is just water but east has an island land mass which so happens to be Ionia and a location for a future show (this feels like my biggest reach take ahah) would love for a part of that show to be Jinx discovering who she is now or if she is rekindling Powder final note. Ekko is the goat that sacrificed everything for nothing in return

got to where you mentioned the jinx graffiti mask. its such a cool and unique way of portraying her mental stability. a super sad thing i caught in episode 4. at around 23:20 you can see all the violent voices/graffiti but you can can a graffiti isha that is trying to hug jinx through the voices. AND because isha never spoke there was no way she could have been an antagonising voice to jinx Ive had remember me on repeat for days now too, its such a great song. i had post act 2 depression and listened to it so loudly whilst taking my sadness out on killing enemies in fallout 😅

just finished act 3 but imo act 2 was my favourite and the most emotional (totally not because it was jinx focused ahah😅)

i have so many questions for the guy drinking with vi and have some speculation. at first i thought he was vander so possibly his brother? (i also saw someone say vander was the sword (in this scenario the fists) of the family which would make this guy the shield of the family which goes with his gear) another thought was is he one of the enforcers that were the reason vi and jinx's parents died and he's never gotten over it after all these years and the attack he was referencing was from s1ep1. ps GIVE ME JINX IN FORTNITE PLEASE

this was such a fun vid, especially since i don't really know much about behind the scenes of aviation. i love the idea of firefly as a flight attendant, getting to socialize with a lot of people and just show up as herself. for aventurine i imagine him to be a flight attendant that tries to charm everyone, but i can see why you put him as pilot, hopefully his good luck would make sure nothing bad happens to the plane...
