Nascar 06 total team control challenge Jeff Gordon 24 Dupont Chevy 2 lap shootout 2:59:02 In the race he was in the 2004 Dupont version of the car with a 3 lap shootout to battle it out with the eventual winner and champion that year Kurt Busch in the 97 Irwin Industrial Tools Ford Taurus as Jeff had a strong car and looking for another victory but didnt time it right to catch and pass the 97. In the challenge he has the players job to recreate history by lining up 2nd for the restart and pass Kurt Busch for the win to beat the challenge.
That would be a tough challenge.

@@JJA1987 in a true over reaction when many like myself said back in 03 all they needed to do was award more points to the winner, not install a gimmick point system to replace it. Should have awarded the winner 100 more points (max of 285) than 2nd place and left it alone.

Outside of Matt winning 4 races in 2006 and finishing 2nd in points, the other Roush cars were either good(Mark), decent(Carl), terrible year(Greg), and unlucky(Jamie). That Roush-Fenway deal was probably the worse thing to happen to them and Matt Kenseth leaving to drive for Joe Gibbs Racing.
If all of these old races like this one was in the HD n sounded better I'll watch this than today's races. Love this era of racing.
