Deep into the Scepter Valley- Mandelbrot Set Zoom
This is a sequel to last year's "Deep into the Elephant Valley" zoom. It has 12.5 times as many iterations, and dives much deeper to 1.74*10^041.

Thorny Bushes- 30 000 000 Iteration Mandelbrot Set Zoom
Просмотров 5 тыс.2 года назад
A Mandelbrot Fractal zoom to 1.11*10^307. In this zoom, I repeatedly shape-stack one of the islands in a minibrot's seahorse valley, along with another shape that is commonly referred to as a "crown". These shapes are repeatedly shape-stacked on top of each other throughout the course of the video to create the image in the thumbnail. Then, when a minibrot is finally reached, instead of stoppin...
Tunnel of Hearts- Perpendicular Burning Ship Fractal Zoom
Просмотров 6 тыс.2 года назад
In a hole in the Perpendicular Burning Ship structure some call the "Heart Mandelbrot" resides many heart-resembling formations that this video explores. Besides the main "tunnels" of hearts (at 1:22 and 2:45), there is another heart-shaped object at 3:11. This pattern doubles to form what I consider "feathers" at 3:59, 4:24, and many other times as the pattern repeats to infinity (or as far as...
Spirally Depths- Shape Stacking Mandelbrot Set Zoom 2
Просмотров 3 тыс.2 года назад
A Mandelbrot Fractal zoom to 1.28*10^088 This zoom, the second in my "shape stacking the same shape" series, depicts stacking the spirals from the elephant valley of needle minibrots three times. The location of where each minibrot was zoomed into resulted in a high end iteration count (20,000,000 iterations), as well as the longest rendering time ever for a video of mine (four days). Enjoy!
Lightning Islands- Shape Stacking Mandelbrot Set Zoom

A Mandelbrot Fractal zoom to 1.48*10^79 The layered "lightning" patterns were made from repeatedly shape stacking the same minibrot in the beginning of the zoom.

mandelbutt set
This is canonically default standart malderbrot zoom? Its looks like modified version... 0:17 so cursed minibrot So unusual to see black... Spirals at 0:20 and 0:25 0:30 wtf most separated part I seen in malderbrot, it's connected with main structure by insanely small "hairs" or this is 100% other 100% separated thing? Malderbrot is 1 figure or not?
It's like it went straight up the Mandelbrot anus and up it's colon.
No matter what they call it, its an a$$ crack
I don’t think i’ll ever understand what this is…
one of the most interesting fractals to zoom into, so many different structures
"A needle is just a needle" The needle:
This video makes me actually want to scream.
To think that there will always be a gap between the main cardioid and the main bulb with endless complexity around it EXCEPT for the single point in the real line where they actually touch. It's mind-blowing for me.
0:30 G L T C HHHHH!!!
Ah, a lone survivor of all the mini julias
This is the Perpendicular Burning Ship
So many phytons
Guys we reached Julia island at this time 0:38
AY AY AY AY AY LAG MINIBROT????!!!!
That’s Julia set😐😐😐
i call the elephant valley "the mandelbrot butthole" lol
mandelbutthole
So up a new up a zooming; I looply celled of this cellecational.
looks cool bro
if you arent too much attentive to 0:30 then the color things look like peter griffin
Hey lois, im now the mandelbrot set lois, heheheheh!

Now my question is Where does this precious elephant valley ends and what does the end looks like?
It doesen't end it's infinite
It’s gonna end to end looks like yellow
@@Providencefan44it has to end fractal universe zoomed very deep into the elephant valley until fractal universe got to the end
@@K0xk11. that's not how infinity works
Its not the end, its just rendering issues
Nice colors!
1:31 WHAT IS THAT
If I didn't have my own Mandelbrot implementation, I would not have understood what the big deal here was. The thing about having my on implementation is that I could set a sentinel color (not on the main palette), to be rendered exactly when and only when the iteration limit was reached. (Note my implementation used ASCII art instead of bitmaps for clarity, but the limit sentinel color is there in my vids.) I found it very interesting to see how rarely very high iteration counts were encountered. But of course, I did explore scepter valley with it (not in my vids, maybe something to do), and that is certainly a place where high iteration counts are actually encountered.

Hey, nice! Can you hint me how to get that far without exploding render time?
For making these videos, especially videos with high iteration counts, I conducted the initial search zoom in to find the coordinates for the video at very low resolution. This speeds up render time to a more manageable value, but the final product still takes several days to render. Besides reducing image quality, I don't really know of any other ways to control render time. Some software has more efficient rendering methods, so you could look towards optimized software. However, you can only optimize the render so far, and most zoom software is already highly optimized. Also, some software already does it automatically, but you can adjust the bailout count while rendering a zoom as you need it. For instance, for this video I only needed the 200,000,000 bailout for the last few frames.
PLS F O R M U L A
so it turns out the mandelbrot set isnt connected!?!?!
No. Just no,
what about -¾?
I had assumed it was an infinite limit problem. I.E. If you have to go to infinity to find a connection, which you can't do, then no. But, I have no proof for this; it's strictly intuitive.
@@TesserId i mean i think if it were for infinite iterations, i think it would be connected with those things the minibrots they have on the needles
@@xelalexa3262 Well, I'm certainly not going to claim to be an expert on infinite limits. I don't think I've done Mandelbrot rendering with more than a thousand iterations, and that was with my own very course text-based rendering, Seems to me that the "minibrots", as you call them, are not on the points of the needles. But, I might think that each new iteration does extend that point of the needle a little farther. If we can say that there is a mutual point in the middle where they meet, wouldn't we expect that it would have zero width? Makes me think I understand why Cantor ended up in a mental institution. Cheers.

My man knows what hes talkin' about!
Right into the Mandelbutt get it?
i call it the mandelbrot butthole
Hi, how did you generate this?
I used a software called Kalles Fraktaler. It's really cool (and free!); you should check it out!
his gpu could only hold soo much.
It went so dark.
mothbrot? thats new
Elephant valley? More like a** crack
I wish I could stop clicking these. It’s fascinating but everything numbers do - these kind of things and the implications is also unsettling
impressive!!!
Wow!!! Amazing!
Brilliant! at some stage I thought you were zooming into a “Mandelbrot desert” ;-). Then it turned out that the desert was a universe of oases. Great video, and mind-blowing zooms into unexpected hidden Regions.
Don't worry guys. We are zooming into a stable region.
Loved it! Thank you so much for your content.
