So I just watched another video for the same job.... ruclips.net/video/MIgZAiHOYMU/видео.html and you can see buddy removed the wipers, and all the plastic engine cowling assembly before even starting where you did. Is it necessary to do all that first or can I just start where you did by removing the engine cover, or is it necessary to do all that extra work to access that engine cover? Mine is a 2014 1.6 litre Eco Boost Escape. Thanks
Grab your torch and warm it up rust will pop off if it is a world scarf for downloaded thread grab a thread, chaser and chase it on and then get you’re not off no big deal you got this
Super Video, vielen Dank!
Wow! New conplete hub, and 2+ hours to cut the old one off! Also , new CV shaft assy.
That is corrosion. Seen it many times in yhe rust belt. No one welds axle nuts to axles.
People do... sad but true... yes this is rust weld i agree
Regardless if it's welded or not, if it's really messed up some shops will refuse to work on it. Mostly for liability reasons.
Holy fuck
That's a rust weld. It happens in severe situations of rust buildup over a fastener or any metal surface were two metals meet
😂😢
That is not just rust
Thats just rust
What year is that grizzly ?
Your a dummy thanks for showing how to get the pads back on really showed how to wipe grease off. That's every rotor job.
Would love to see the actual thing your doing with the screwdriver
Touching the terminal with the positive cable to the small terminal on the solenoid. That is basically what the switch does to activate the starter.
Super Vid!!!!!! I'm HOH (hard of hearing) I have a hard time hearing your voice over the music. That breathing noise reminds me of a ventilator. Your voice is very good!!!! Your information, time and effort are greatly appreciated.
I inherited a '11 Malibu in dire need of pads & rotors on all 4 corners. While I'm used to the many BMW D.I.Y.s out there, I have to admit this one ranks among the best regardless of make or model. Thank you!
Thank you.
Aight I just replaced my starter but I’m just getting a single click but no start. I had the old starter tested and they said it’s bad and they said by battery is good but needs a charge. I tried jumping it before i tested it however but it still wouldn’t start, so I don’t see that making much of a difference. I feel like it could be my alternator cuz that’s the only thing not new but or tested in about a month but still I’m not sure… any help is greatly appreciated
Seems like a good video, but the stupid music is hard to hear over. What's the purpose of the music?
Trying to do this now but my safety tab is on top and so far I can’t get at an angle to release it. So frustrating.
Thanks
You don't torque anything?
And if you put a washable performance air filter in, you may gain 5 hp and foot pounds of torque and a slightly more aggressive intake sound
Pretty good video but so you don’t have to risk damaging your filter try one of the frame top-of-the-line filters in mobile one high mileage 10 W 30 or the extended life 5W-30 high mileage and if you buy it at Walmart, it’s significantly cheaper than the regular auto parts store and of course change your cabin filter every six months
So what if the 24v starter spins on a12v but the bending gear doesn't come out will it comes out on a full voltage of 24v
Excellent video great details thanks simeone that really knows how to test a starter u could teach alot of people on here thank my man
Ty. Very good
Do you Need a swivel ??? What size socket is that?
Very Best How to video I have ever seen
thanks for the tutorial, i did exactly all this but before i only had code P0520 and now after replacement i also get code p0523 and i cant clear it from the obd scanner, any suggestions?
Omg it just happend to me today,, went to auto start it ran for a couple then quite,, after throwing scan tool on it P0520 came up. Thanks so much for the walk thru. Really appreciate it. Going onto lift ,, lol easier than deal with jack stands. Thanks again Mate

I think my selenoid is bad. So i got a no crank no start. I needed a booster to get car started. Got it to start but car lasted I only 2 days and then did the same thing. I charged battery i case it was battery. Started no crank no start. Did it again and it took 10 seconds turnover before it started. So i dont think its the starter or it wont even turn but the selenoid going bad is not popping out coukd cause it to not turn sometimes or not turn most times? From spinning and cranking? I got a code for cam shaft position sensor, which I read eventually causes no start but it doesnt say if its a no turn no start or of its a turn but no start. Alternator hasnt died or the car would lose power and turn off or just not turn and or crank at all. Other suggestions anyone? let me know please. I dont want to buy new starter and alternator just to find out issue continues. It may be ignition switch or something similar? Not sure
Would 11.8v be too low for the solenoid to close?
I just did this same work on a machine that sat for a few years and didn't get routine maintenance due to the former owners' health. It was all he could do just to ride the thing let alone take care of it. At one point the multiple hoses/tubing didn't make sense how it came apart. Watched your video and found the difference which seemed to make sense to me. Long story short, my deceased BnL's 660 fired right up and will be put back into service and fun. Thanks for the very well-done and useful video.
This is great! Thanks so much! But PLEASE... Lose the background music. It's distracting and makes it harder to hear what you are saying... :)
Take fuel selection know before tank, small Phillips screw
Good video
I'm going to try this on my 2011 Malibu. Thanks for your detailed video ❤❤❤
You’reawesome! Good teaching services bud. No unnecessary blabber, full sentences, clear descriptions of what to do, as well as what not to do. Kudos. Definitely worth subscribing to see what else you do. Much appreciated.
Great video I have a question. Is there need to remove the right wheel when fitting the oil pressure sensor? because my right lock nut key is messed up can’t remove the wheel at the moment
U didn't say fill oil filter with new oil.....
May i can drive the car with that check engine for 2 days ?
Thank you. I'm having trouble with my car starting intermittently, I had a new starter put on and new battery my terminals are good and everything looks good on the starter now to start checking the solenoid because like I said sometimes it cranks and sometimes it don't! thank you so much for a to the point and precise video
If you purchased a new starter it already has a new solenoid on the housing. You may have a crack shaft sensor or a cam shaft sensor going bad.
If they both are tested and good it's most likely your ignition switch.
Thank you very much
Te amo cara tu mim ajudou mto
Great video!
Great video of a disassemble example but don't waste your money on a Amazon carb. Just rebuild your oem
Thank you very much for this video. I'm a novice mechanic and this video helped me tremendously. I successfully installed the carburetor! The attention to detail was great!
You did not describe how to check and then set the spark plug gap to specification. Always check the plug gap beofre installation - especially on 'pre-gapped' spark plugs.
It really depends on the engine and its required performance. If its a race rig that your gonna beat the piss out of, yeah you might want to adjust your gap, but if its an everyday rig you’re using from point a to b, you really dont have to.
Ok so I have only a few questions......do you have running water? and if so do you like working on a dirty ATV especially on a carb.........Ok thanks PigPen
