Part 1 is actually a Suga track and it's gorgeous! Suga singing gives me life 💜 As they say, Once you Jimin, you can't Jim-out! 🥰 Jimin talked in interviews about what inspired him for this album, he was basically writing about what he went through during covid, he had a hard time, this was the track where he said "enough!" basically, and came out of his funk. There's another track that was very popular called Like Crazy placed earlier in the tracklist of the album, he got a Billboard number 1 with it, in the MV you see him going out to a club, dancing and getting his drink on, self-medicating basically, but at the end of the night he goes home and there's mud around him, like his depression isn't going away easily, but when you get to the Set Me Free track at the end of the album, you get a big eff off to all of that. Amen!

Nah...there's definitely cussing in BTS. It's not every track and not most of the title tracks, but BTS is a lot more raw and authentic then most people have an impression of if you've only learned about them from their poppier English tracks in the last few years and have never dug into their discography. While there certainly is a lot of compromise when trying to have 7 members all come together to create music, I doubt that it's his label or the members that he's setting himself free from seeing that he just signed his 3rd 7 years contract with them the year this was released. Knowing Jimin's background and also the intention of the album Face that this song was the end of, it would be that he was setting himself free from the emotions he had been doing through during the pandemic. That's how he's described it, Face, as in Facing yourself and overcoming. 💜

Yeah all seven members can sing, rap and dance and as a group they can do pretty much every music genre at this point. A group that can sing like Boyz II Men and Destiny's Child, rap better than most current rappers and dance so well they could be professionals is insane if you think about it. Not to mention their very talented team behind them. This song for instance was created in Atlanta back in 2019 even though XG made their debut in 2022 and this song came out in 2023.
