The 40L is H 26"; L 11.8"; D 10.2", it's a little high but you should be fine for the majority of Airlines. If you're worried about it they also make a 20 and a 30L. I seriously doubt they would give you a hard time unless you pack the hell out of that thing.

@@devudaladhilleswararao785 I will say, however, that the bag rests right above your hips instead of on your hips. It's annoying at first but you get used to it.

Just picked one up on sale for 60 USD. It's taking a while to get here but that's a covid thing. I hope it works out because I spent over 1k on my other gear and ran out of money lol. It seems to check all the boxes and then some. Most of the reviews are good.
