The snap pins on all the boom pins should should be better quality and all of them need to be replaced, there’s not enough strength in the ring, and the nuts on the u bolts for the canopy should be lock nuts , other then that I don’t have any complaints it works great for what it is

Man yeah kirk!! Yyiu did great!! That thing will come in so handy!! Congrats on your goal, thats awesome!! Look fwd to seeing that produce stand one day 😉 You are very handy at making things. I bet it wouldnt be to hard ti addsome kind of subframe even pipe for the truck bed trailer. Make a few hinges, and use the haybine hydraulic cylinder. Maybe to at least get an anlge on that bed for easier unloading! But you are like me, way more projects than time!! Thank you my friend !!

I have a MTH5600 & love it but, I hate the Air Filter! I get saw dust particles caked on the intake of my Carburetor after cutting just a little. It's a beast & I have the O-Ring to seal around the carb intake but the filter holes are larger than the dust particles. Frustrated because it won't start after using unless I turn upside down & blow it out w/ Carb Cleaner

Would be easier to free up the plunger if is disconnected from the drive crank - that is keywayed to the gearbox driveshaft, hence your difficulties. Beating up on the whole mechanism with a lump of tree branch isn't doing it any favours whatsoever. If removing the plunger from the rear, best to remember and remove those side retainers first - they have the appearance of a cheese grater and are installed to prevent springback of the hay wedge, after it has been compressed by the ram stroke.

Interesting. I have a couple of those on my property, but not that big. I got rid of one that was too much for my tractor to move by digging a big hole beside it, undercutting it to roll it in and burying it. Over the years, though, the frost has started to heave it to the surface again.🤷‍♂

Kirk, I'm just down the road from you. Do you know anyone on the peninsula who is cutting pulp? If you find someone who is, and wants some of your fir, I could add some to that pile. I don't want anything for it, just storm damage wood. Those storms took a lot of firs, so I'm getting rid of a lot of them by my power line plus others that are blowdowns.
