Thank you for the kind words. Yes you can certainly use diesel in the fuel tank. We have done that for a customer in the past. If I recall correctly we installed the Onan QD because it was not possible to order it from DRV with it.

The Ikon is a nice rig but I can 100% tell you that the XL is a very suitable replacement for the Ikon. I've driven every model of Renegade a lot and my favorite is the XL. Thank you for watching. Lubricate the arms with silicone spray. Do not use WD40 because it dries up and it also attracts dirt. In fact do not use anything except silicone. Silicone dries non sticky. Spray particularly where the spring mechanism is and where parts slide against each other. If the arms and mechanism have a lot of build up of crud on them I would suggest spraying them down with high pressure water to get it clean. Then give them some time to dry. Then really soak them with silicone spray to get all the water out. Use the silicone spray liberally. Inspect the arms closely as with age and too much crud build up they can get bent with causes them not to go in and out smoothly. If they are bent they might need to be replaced. Fortunately parts for these Zip Dee manual awnings are not too expensive. I have had some success bending straight bent awning arms although a lot of care must be used and you run the risk of causing further damage if you are not careful. Good luck.

ATC trailers are not meant to look luxurious on the inside. They are meant for owners that play hard and abuse their trailers hence the commercial heavy duty interiors. I appreciate the feedback David but I prefer not to use the automatic changeover feature because when you are out, you are out. Most towables do not have an LP level indicator inside so you do not have a way of knowing when you are low. This way when you run out you simply change the valve and have the opportunity to then refill the empty tank.

Solar will always provide a trickle charge as long as there is available light, however when driving the auxiliary alternator will provide all the charging you need.

You should be able to James if you fold up the dinette and put the first one all the way up to the kitchen area. After you load the second one at the very rear then lower the bed over it so you can stow your gear on the bed. These things are built tough!

Not quite but in the ballpark. These can be around 80k to 95k depending on what options it is configured with. This one in particular is around 90k.

The fuel area is a separate partition. Only the lip of the left edge of the fuel door goes under the driver door for locking purposes. If you look at the design closely the fueling area is well outside of the weatherstripping for the door. Even leaving the fuel cap off would not result in fumes in the cabin provided the door was properly closed. This design has been in service since 2007 and is tried and proven. It is one of the longest running and most successful chassis by any manufacturer. Thank you for watching.

You open the drivers door to open the fuel door ( no one can get to the fuel cap with the front doors locked) after fuel door is open you can now close the drivers door to remove the fuel cap to add fuel, no fumes can get into the coach.

@@frankattheshop after you open the drivers door to open the fuel fill door you close the drivers door then remove the fuel fill cap and add fuel, no fumes get into the coach while filling because the drivers door is now closed.
