This brings back many wonderful memories for me since I was in the All City High School Chorus, directed by Mr. Wilhousky. I am 80 years old now and that was back in the 1950's. The "Carol of the Bells" was one of his favorites and he made sure we sang it exactly as he wanted it!! Tough director but a great man - never to be forgotten.

I wonder if my choir is going to sing this... I'm in Emily Crocker's choir so we do a lot of her music. This is beautiful! (I hope we sing it next year!)

By the way, it gets slightly better as it goes on. A little bit of a rough start.

I know you posted this a looooong time ago, but yes I was Polly and it was my own hair. I don't have bangs, we took the front portion and teased the part nearest to the roots then used a curling iron to create a larger roll, then pinned it in place :).

Are you Polly? I love your hair! Is it a wig or did you do it yourself...if so, is your hair long in the front or do you have bangs that you rolled back?
