@gregtroyan its rare to find people being upfront about the unethical behavior so I appreciate this. Yea I'm fully enjoying retail now and happy to invest as much money and time in it knowing it's going to keep law, order, server going. When there's more ppl playing retail there's more incentive to update and bring new content. I wouldn't wanna leave that to private servers lol

@@tannifae Exactly. There are 1 or 2 PS that bother making new content, but for the most part, I find them to be unethical in terms of how they hurt retail, and that's without getting into all the drama around how some of them are run. No thanks, I'll stick with the real game myself. : )

I'm not the biggest fan of that one. I like bagpipes a lot, but for some reason the melody is a bit grating to me. I'm glad you like it, though! : )

DT won the popular vote by 1.5%. Lots of us are still sane but are gradually going insane with everything we see happening. I think a lot of writers are afraid to "polish" a song because they want to keep that raw authenticity, but taking the time to craft something can be a good thing.

This version from early 1973, when it actually became Suicide, with Eric, is better than the 1975 version on Fighting. Philip was most on top of his game when Eric was in the band IMO. More severe drug use from 1975 on obviously is a part of that, but I honestly think the trio years are when Philip enjoyed the band most. ​@@patrickcatlett2981Yes, Eric has said he probably would have died, but no one knows that, and there is a lot of regret in that statement from Eric. Deep down Eric knows he made the wrong choice. I love the band in the power trio years and also love the later years, but what could of been. And no one can say that Philip wouldn't still be with us if Eric never left the band. Not saying that is a given, but Eric dying if he stayed in the band isn't a given either.

Re-watching this, it does seem my commentary is generally better in this reaction than a lot of my other ones.

@gregtroyan You clearly don’t understand the community that forms when people genuinely rely on each other, rather than just chasing a meaningless challenge for show. It’s not the same at all. True reliance on community is what made this game what it was.

It's a nice tribute, but adding a catchy chorus only helps 99.9% of songs without them. Not sure if knowing that the song was about Phil would make it move up in the rankings. It's not bad, the sentiment is nice.

The answer is tissues.

We do see something that is possibly tissues being tossed down, possibly into a trash receptacle, or on to the floor. Greg then slowly returns to the reaction. It is indeed possible there was nose blowing going on during this incident, but I do think questions needed to be raised. Also, why could Greg not have just turned around on camera and blew his nose? We do appreciate Greg doing his nose blowing in private, if that is indeed what he was doing. This concludes this investigation from my end. I am satisfied with the findings & the probability that tissues were used and that Greg did nothing nefarious while off camera. Not that toking a glass pipe would have been nefarious. Most of our audience would not be the least bit offended if Greg were stoned during these reactions. Actually it would explain a lot. I do like the shot facing the window. Gives the viewer a more natural backdrop, looking out on to Nashville. Good reaction today overall, I have not looked at the ranking yet, but I am sure this song sits higher than I would have placed it. I would have enjoyed a reaction to 'Please Don't Leave Me' this week, during this grievous time, that we all will get through together.

I did get a 2nd set of eyes on Tissuegate. After a Cobb salad lunch yesterday, Bob Cobb created a great salad, I had a credible friend take a professional look at the tissuegate video, also enhancing it. Greg did indeed blow his nose, however, we both feel a cough drop or some other product MAY have been inserted in Greg's mouth at one point. Possibly a NyQuil gel cap? Not sure, but there is no video evidence that Greg did not blow his nose. Thank god the mystery is fully resolved. The Cobb salad was invented in 1937 at the Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood. Yes, it's American and not British. Bob Cobb was an American restauranteur. There is some controversy on whether Bob Cobb fully invented the Cobb Salad on his own or with the help of his chef Paul J. Posti.

@@gregtroyan can argue the same point to all the unhinged retail addicts that lose their mind any time someone mentions private servers. but to answer your question one of the biggest problems with the current state of the game are the arbitrary lockout timers on the only content left for some people. joining a pug for odyssey or sortie only to be ruined by a player that has endgame gear and no clue how to play their job ruins the run for 5 people that have nothing to do for 18 hours now.

Hi! My comment of "choosing not to do content" was directed at folks who are playing the same content, over and over again, for years on repeat, on private servers, because they don't like the new content added to XI, even when the option to play that same old content, over and over again, for years on repeat, is available in retail. Retail didn't remove any content they liked, they just added more content. If someone doesn't like the new content added to a game and wants to play something else, then by all means play something else, but pirating the game just out of spite for new stuff being added to the game is very, very, very silly. Again, nothing wrong with preferring old school XI, but I think pirating the game when all of the "good content" is still in retail is very silly. MMOs have some an insane wealth of content you can play the game however you want. Thanks for the kind words on the video. I've had a bunch of people tell me this vid inspired them to play XI, which I'm grateful for, and I'm grateful that most have told me they chose to play retail to support the workers making the game.
