    While I can appreciate anyone's opinions and your opinion is no different as you are entitled to it, this is a bad take. Just a look at the interview Cody had on his show with LA Knight (Now over 1M views on WWE RUclips in one week) lets you know what WWE thinks about him. He is a future World Heavyweight Champion, I absolutely believe that. I think people who have the take you just had, are the same people who are thinking about WWE during Vince's rule. A lot has changed since then. IF La Knight was to lose at Summerslam, I think it would be a larger part of his storyline. The people have not backed away from Knight in the slightest.

    Kris Statlander was the only woman at AEW who could match up to Jade in terms of power and athleticism but she didn't have close to the same aura, physique or glamour. As you say, WWE has a few women who do so - Bianca, Rhea, Charlotte, Raquel. In Lash Legend, NXT has a woman who actually outclasses Jade in size and strength. I almost wonder if Lash is the reason why Jade didn't go straight to NXT.

  • @ElpidioArroyo-t4t

    The problem with the female division is that there is only one championship, Rhea and Charlotte are levels above the rest, the rest are lacking in one way or another. She is great, but She lacks mic skills

    • @nbaldwin45
      @nbaldwin45 Месяц назад

      She lacks in-ring skills as well. She's got charisma, athleticism and presence to spare though. I just think WWE loses whatever they do with her. They (and Jade) were criticised for not putting her straight on TV as well. I think NXT would've been the best solution - I don't think Jade's too big for NXT. She was never a mega-draw at AEW nor was she a big crossover star. Maybe they thought she'd overshadow Lash Legend or something

    "I don't that he really feels that way in his heart..." What is a truer representation of what someone feels in their heart, than their unfiltered thoughts on a subject, when talking to their closest friends, when they don't know that they're are being recorded? The lengths that people will go, to say, "is it really that big of a deal? Yes, its that big of a deal. But also, I think there is a lottle bit of sanitation happening, because I only see people talking about the front half of the quote because its bad enough... but when you look at the whole quote, he elaborates on his feelings. He doubles-down to be clear. "I'm racist, to a point, you know, fucking n!gg3rs, but when it comes to nice people..." then the double-down... "...when it comes to nice people, you gotta, you can't, you can't say the... I don't give a fuck if she [inaudible] [an eight foot tall?] basketball player. If we're gonna fuck with n!gg3rs, let's get a rich one" That is an ethos. That is thought out. That is mulled over. That is a part of his 8 simples rules. That for a black person to be worthy, they have to have financed their way out of being "less than", but yet he has never commented on any white fellas that she has entangled with that weren't rich. The unadulterated audacity.

      @@Redhawk-dy3nt the casual way in which you view racism, I'm not sure that says something about you to be proud of. Yes, other people have done other things... but what does that have to do with Hogan? Someone else being worse does not absolve you of your own transgressions. That argument is like saying Musselini wasn't a bad person, because Hitler existed. The part that troubles me, is the lengths that a certain contingent on the internet are going to defend Hogan, who started his infamous recording with, "I'm a racist to a degree...". Even when a racist admits that they are a racist, and then demonstrate that they are a racist... you all are still sitting at your keyboards saying, "but wait..."

    • @Redhawk-dy3nt
      @Redhawk-dy3nt Месяц назад

      What it has to do with Hogan is that all people should be held to the same standard. You chose to comment on a video regarding something someone said. Do you also comment on articles involving Steve Austin and his domestic abuse? Highly unlikely because it's clear that you care more about what people say rather than what people do. Hogan did apologize for what he said.

    • @Rated314
      @Rated314 Месяц назад

      @@Redhawk-dy3nt apologies without changed behavior... isn't worth the paper it's printed on. I've asked this elsewhere, aside from the bookerplate apology for getting caught... what has Hogan done to atone for being a racist? And Steve Austin's domestic abuse, yes, I comment on that regularly as well

    • @Redhawk-dy3nt
      @Redhawk-dy3nt Месяц назад

      @@Rated314 Why is someone obligated to do things other than apologize? If you don't want to accept the apology, then don't, but he can't travel back in time. It's up to you to tell people what you want Hogan to do beyond the apology, not the responsibility of other people to give you example after example of how sorry he is and why. You act like the guy needs behavioral classes and rehab. And my casual approach does not need to match your level of outrage. People care about different things for different reasons. Some care about the border, climate change, inflation, crime, etc. Accusing people of being casual about certain subjects just because they aren't as passionate as you is a character attack and is disingenuous.

This is just the reason they use. If those videos never came out, the same people would still hate him. So fuck em! Hulkamania forever!

    Is this guy serious? What crippled New Japan was all it's top stars leaving to start AEW. They haven't helped them at all. And it wasn't just New Japan, AEW also effectively put ROH out of business before Tony swooped in as the 'savior' and bought it up. Oh hey, they had a thing with Impact too... Tony even went on their TV and shit all over the promotion... And no one was allowed to retort. Then Kenny Omega won their belt. But that's cool, at least he put over young up and coming talent when he dropped it to... Christian Cage... On an AEW show.... Totally helped Impact.

    The demise of WCW was a direct effect of executives at Turner and AOL/Time Warner not wanting wrestling on their networks. Only Ted Turner wanted it on the air and after the sale/merger Ted became a minority owner losing control to save WCW. Eric assembled investors and actually offered way more than Vince but they were not going to sell to Eric because they did not want him to go to another network and possibly be a success thus making them look bad. Vince purchased it and then killed it which is what the executives wanted. If Eric had purchased it massive payroll cuts woukd have needed to happen. Half the roster or more woukd have been lett go and million dollar annual contracts woukd have been 150k, 200k, 250k for top talent. Lean and mean payroll but it would have been quality over quantity and performers like Sean O Haire would have had their chance to make it big. Would have loved to see Eric get WCW and rebuild it sonit wqs still around today.

    This was back in 1984 or 1985, when Kevin Sullivan was doing his whole satanic gimmick, and they came to do a show in Lewiston, ME, either at the Lewiston Armory or Central Maine Youth Center (now the Lewiston Colisee), and several of my friends from 8th or 9th grade were there in the front row. Kevin and his entourage (the Fallen Angel, the Purple Haze Maniac Mark Lewin, etc) came down the aisle to the ring and he was engaging with the heckling crowd, and when the Fallen Angel (Nancy Sullivan, later Benoit) turned her back to the crowd, one of my friends grabbed her buttocks, and then took off running. She then started screaming at him as he was fleeing, so Kevin came over to see what was going on. She then told Kevin about this, and so he jumped over the railing and took off after him, but my friend was too far gone at that time. Plus, Kevin was a grown man and my friend was 13 or 14, so what could he really do to him? Not to mention, Kevin had a match to put on. So Kevin went back to do his match. This was actually taped, and I watched it on a wrestling broadcast on the local cable access channel.

    Are you guys wrestling fans or what? That's the rock job as a heel not to care about cody winning the royal rumble. Everyone knows cody won the royal rumble. His point is just to be about himself, not to acknowledge cody he's a heel what do you expect.

      Obviously we are. The point was the difficult position this whole thing with The Rock going in and out of the main event put everyone in and how difficult holding the story together without it going off the rails is going to be. Plenty of ways he could trash Cody but usually The Rock's quips are funny because there's a grain of truth in them. That one fell flat. Thanks for listening and commenting!

      I agree. It creates a lot of drama and we don’t know how things are going to turn out.
