I’m confused because regular clay needs to be fired to vitrify to be strong. Regular clay in it’s dry form is very fragile.
Hey what's that liquid you dipped the cup in ???
How do you make those molds?
Everything went wrong
what is that for? if it gets wet it might get damaged right
Yes! If you want to turn it into ceramics kiln firing is necessary
Which paint are you using
The same question
thanks for not helping
😂😂 i rarely enter the ytb lol
Available on: annikaceramics.com ❤
Is this the final product? Like no glaze at all?
You can leave it like this if you don’t have a kiln or put on a mod podge or smth similar for the gloss

People never stop to think about the raw material that turns into beautiful objects. Is there some magic fairy deliver for free?
Right! We mix our own slip from scratch which takes at least 2 days to make, and it’s hard to get it the right way.
@annika.ceramics Thanks for sharing, hopefully some people will be enlightened.

For those wondering,This is Mud clay which is used with the help of air and water.
Just regular white clay that we usually use for pottery, I like it better than air dried clay

How easily will this break once dried without firing it in a kiln? Asking for an art class. We have clay but no kiln. Thank you.
Look into doing a pit firing. I took an intermediate pottery class some 20yrs ago as a refresher since I hadn’t wheel thrown in years. The school had electric kilns; however, we learned to pit fire & raku fire. Pit firing isn’t terribly difficult. The pots do need to be quite sturdy, but it’s easily done.
If you make it a bit ticker it should be okay!
It will dissolve in watter without kilning. Can’t even wipe with a wet cloth. Use air dry clay, papper mache or fimo clay.
@@amberfrazier575coating varnish is a good option
@@amritasah7437 I used 3 or 4 coats on mine and it still melted 😢
