Ammunition train for the 40 cm guns from WW2 in Hanstholm Denmark, today they carry slaves?
The Second World War Museum in Hanstholm in northwestern Denmark is an interesting visit if you happen to be passing by. There you will see one of the large German 40 cm guns from WW2. the range of the guns was about 55 kilometers. The Germans built bunkers for four such large guns with a row of associated connecting other bunkers for the guns. There were four such large cannons there then. Today, such a large cannon remains out on the open field for you to view. You can also wander around the bunker system (though why would you), but bring good flashlights. There is a museum with sundries and you can take a ride on the ammunition train if you want to feel like a cannonball.

Najad 395 AC - 2018 - a sailboat maybe too modern (?). Well - If you compare with a Vindö 45 or Hallberg-Rassy (HR) 39 or even a Najad 373 the others are more cosy, but the 395 CC, with rear cabin, is maybe better, in a boat of this size a rear cabin can be nice, it makes a difference. Did not take a photo on the deck but it was in synthetic teak, yellowish, very beautiful, and apparently only ...

    All African countries north of the equator should be made members of NATO war group after the fall of communism. The United Stated States is a republic. That simply means that, All African countries north of the equator may become members of NATO group if the United States wants it. Vested interest groups and business owners have more power in the US. Meanwhile, The word : Nazi: and the Moscow statement, "Nazis and followers of Hitler are controlling lynch mobs in Ukraine" are in general based on a misnomer. Ukraine was created by Romanov dynasty Queen Katherine the great in 1783 out of Ottoman territory in order to create a homeland of Cossacks who claim to be originally from Kyiv. Local Cossack chieftains already re-captured or liberated their supposed historical capital Kyiv from Ottoman warriors way back in 1667AD. The word Nazis is a misnomer. Russia calls "They must be followers of Hitler" all unemployed men from west Ukraine who organized protest marches in ethnic Russian neighborhoods. They march through ethnic Russian neighborhoods and in Russian speaking towns such as Odesa with burning wooden torches in their hands. These men ride by motorcycles, new and old, starting across Ukraine from either Kyiv or Lviv City to organize protest marches and to create chaos in Russian speaking towns such as Odesa. Not a single arsonist either in Ukraine or the USA and not a single arsonist living in the western hemisphere, as mentioned in many Forensic Files episodes of the US, were ever followers of Hitler. Internet research at the time indicates: These incidents of arsonists marching through Russian speaking towns like Odesa, KKK style, happened before the war of 2022. An arsonist or ethnic Ukrainian protest marcher marching with a lynch mob in Russian speaking towns of Ukraine such as Odesa are often branded as being a few Nazi supporters by spokespersons in Moscow. In Ukraine, ethnic Russians and Cossacks were likely always stupid, as they used to sign up for military service for the last 50 years. This created an opportunity for ethnic Ukrainian military officers, most likely to sacrifice ethnic Russians by fighting wars after war by sending them to Donbass and the salt town near by. Ethnic Ukrainians of central Ukraine and west Ukraine were more interested in increasing their populations. and to stay Intact and alive during earlier wars, most likely. From what I had read, military officers hired by Kyiv are predominantly ethnic Ukrainians. Possibly four years ago, there are RUclips videos. That time, large motor cycle borne groups of men, many ethnic Ukrainians along with some ethnic Russians in their ranks would travel on old motor cycles and new motor cycles to ethnic Russian speaking cities such as Odesa. In Odesa, the lynch mobs travelling east from Lviv city and Kyiv killed 40 ethnic Russians in a public building on a street in Odesa which allows public access. as seen in RUclips video. Members of the Deep state of the western hemisphere may have possibly promised , although I doubt that, these groups of men coming from near Lviv and from near Kyiv, large sums of money or financial aid up to a trillion dollars, in exchange for burning down houses of ethnic Russians in Donbass or Odesa city or elsewhere. These non Nazi gangs are usually from Lviv area or Kyiv area. These marching groups with KKK style burning wooden logs would march through town after town. In one attack on a building in Odesa as seen on RUclips they killed 40 people. These attacks inside a building in order to kill 40 ethnic Russians in that building in Russian speaking Odessa. Anything which will bring in a trillion dollars in aid to this non NATO member is acceptable. This is reported on national TV in Russian Federation. Someone in Russian Federation says, "Gosh, About 200 followers of Hitler have just reached Odesa by motor cycles from Lviv city. Now these followers of Hitler want to various ethnic Russian neighborhoods of Odesa and other Russian speaking cities and scorch their houses. Theses followers of Hitler are marching through these neighborhoods with burning logs of wood." Fact: These threatening marches happened in towns such as Kyiv and Odesa. Fiction: These are not followers of Adolf of Hitler.

    THE UNITED STATES CAUSED THE UKRAINE WAR 1….. During the Cuban Missile Crisis the US was well on its way to initiating WW 3 because we would not tolerate Russia’s military that close to our border. That is the same logic Russia has used since before the 1980’s. They feel they can not tolerate The US and Nato military on their border (BTW, the US caused the Cuban Missile Crisis also). 2….. Around 1985 The US signed an agreement with Russia that we would not move our military any closer to the Russian border than we were then. WE BROKE THAT AGREEMENT. 3….. During the Obama Administration, the US aided the violent overthrow of the legally elected president of Ukraine. We also sent units of the 82d Airborne into Ukraine. 4….. During the entire time the US and NATO continued to apply pressure to place our forces on Russia’s border. 5….. Russia invaded. 6….. Poland was brokering a negotiated end to the conflict but the US prevented this. 7….. The US has deployed the 101st Airborne Division to the border of Ukraine. 8….. The US has sent a military unit into Ukraine commanded by a general. 9….. The US has ordered all Americans out of Russia and we have purchased 130 million dollars of radiation poisoning medications. 10…. The US arms industry is making a fortune. And, we are gaining an enormous amount of intel on Russian capabilities. And, it’s Ukraines that are dying, not Americans. 11…. ONE MISTAKE OR MISJUDGMENT AND IT COULD KILL BILLIONS OF PEOPLE ! Is the risk worth the reward?

    It is months since John Meersheimer last gave an assessment about where the thought this war would lead and who he felt was at fault here. It is disappointing that Mr Meersheimer hasn't changed his perspective much at all on this conflict and yet circumstances on the ground have changed considerably. This is especially true recently, but I won't address the successful counter offensive that Ukraine has conducted in southern which effectively counters what Mr Meersheimer said about Russia having greater resolve or that Russia would the war. The Russians are definitely not winning this war Mr Meersheimer!! It should have been obvious to him who has the greater resolve in this conflict because Ukraine is defending their country and have been even more motivated after seeing the atrocities done to Ukrainian civilians by the Russians which Mr Meersheimer says nothing about. I can only agree that much of the blame for this conflict lies with the US because of their push to enlarge NATO closer and closer to Russia. There is also the fact that Russia has seen the US perpetrate two wars for which they were never held to account. Nevertheless, Russia was not under immediate threat if an attack nor was Ukraine on the verge of becoming a part of NATO. Russia illegally invaded Ukraine and with poorly trained troops, many were young conscripts who didn't even know they were going to fight a war. The moral of many of the troops is low and the Russians are repeatedly beat in battles across Ukraine. Ukrainian forces pushed Russia completely out of northern Ukraine which Mr Meersheimer also never mentions because it doesn't fit his narrative. The only time Mr Meersheimer ever hold Russia responsible for this attack was when at at very end of this video he says that "Russia was doing the dirty work, so I don't want to let them escape their responsibility". Mr Meersheimer sounds more like an apologist for Russia because his whole argument is against the US until the very end and he leaves out so much that seems counter to his narrative.

      @Michael You have missed something. Or you are just a victim of the massive pro Ukraine propaganda dominates all media. Russia won the war on february 24:th 2022 by hindering Nato expansion in to Ukraine, it's simple as it is. And it is not Ukraine that Russia is fighting but it is a proxy war against Nato, please get it. And you repeat the propaganda that Ukraine was not becoming a part of Nato, while in reality it was a de facto member in Nato and that is the reason why this war is not "over yeat". USA was beaten in Afghanistan by tramps with handguns från 1940:ties and now is taking on Russia, you ain't seen nothing yet, wait before coment please.

Are we supposed to let them systematically practice genocide (as they already started to do in Bucha just days into the war) ? He completely ignores the will of the Ukrainians. For him it's all about Russia vs USA; the country actually being invaded, raped and destroyed doesn't matter. Ex-Soviet or Russian territories did not and do not wish to be subject to Russian rule again. "All the satellites of the Soviets with the possible exception of the Bulgarians want to break the shackles of the Warsaw Treaty, but they cannot. Then their only hope is that which the Helsinki document allows them, that is, to strengthen their friendship with the United States of America and the West, to seek investments from them in the form of credits and imports of their technology without any restrictions..." This was said in 1975 about the Helsinki Accords on regarding the territorial integrity of European countries, not by a Western politician, but by Enver Hoxha, the communist Albanian dictator, and shows how even non-aligned communist countries viewed Russian control. As for Mearsheimer's persistent comments on 'Poking the Bear', someone needs to remind him of the traditional sport of bear baiting, where a pack of small dogs working together kill a bear.

      @@dragonade85 Well it is a bad idea to issue a challenge while counting on it not being accepted; Ukraine was trying to make itself more secure by committing itself to joining Nato, but wasn't it also issuing a challenge to Russia's own security? Smaller countries have to use skillful diplomacy to a greater extent that large powerful ones, but Ukraine is not really small, it is a medium size country that is in its eastern part, strategically sensitive for Russian security, The smaller can play big countries off against one another to get a good deal., and yet as As Mearsheimer says in his book The Tragedy Of Great Power Politics, "To paraphrase Clint Eastwood, a state has to know its limitations to survive in the international system. Nevertheless, great powers sometimes make mistakes because they take decisions with imperfect information". Ukraine and Russia have both made serious mistakes.

  • @dragonade85
    @dragonade85 2 года назад

    Russia has lost this already. It has the potential to crush Ukraine, but it's constrained by the reluctance to formally declare war on Putin's part. Why will Putin not declare war if this is such an existential struggle about Russia's existence? Because a declaration of war will mean that boys from Russia - Moscow and St Petersburg - will be dying, and that will cause a backlash. The casualties are already higher than the 10 years in Afghanistan, and that caused enough dissent that it helped to bring down the USSR. Much better to keep relying on the minorities in the poorer parts of the RF, Wagner mercenaries and prisoners. It also means recognising that Ukraine is an independent country and not simply a part of Russia that yearns to reunite with the Motherland. That in turn raises questions in Russia about the legitimacy and reasons for the war. Treating places like Kyiv in the same way as Grozny rather destroys the arguments about trying to liberate Slav brothers and return the ancient birthplace of Russia to its Mother. The existential threat, if there is one, is to Putin and his regime, not to Russia. Russia will survive, although in what form I don't know, but Putin probably won't. The war is now becoming more about Putin's survival than about Ukraine. Putin has to have a win, but unless he formally declares war and mobilises the Russian heartland, he can't win. And a win means battering Ukraine so hard that the Ukrainians agree to stop fighting, which looks extremely unlikely. It's going to be a long drawn out fight. And the worst is that win or lose, after this Russians are going to be regarded in the same way as Germans were after WW2.

      You know Ukraine still hasnt taken any major part of their territory back since March right? The war map look quite the same and Russia even claimed more lands. • @dragonade85
      @dragonade85 2 года назад

      Ukraine hasn't taken any of its territory back since 2014. But Russia was expected to roll over Ukraine in a few days. The fact that Ukraine is even talking about regaining territory is significant. Time? How long can Russians accept their kids just vanishing with no news from the government or military? Or coming back in zinc boxes? Or the economy tanking? Russia has to hold territory both against the Ukrainians on the front line, and against partisans in the rear. The airbase attack last week was a real shock, and there are constant reports of disruptions behind the lines. This really could be Russia's Vietnam. The Ukrainians are fighting for their country. The Russians are fighting for Putin.
