Bobcats & other predators don't want to be seen much less bothered. They absolutely could mess you up if you messed with it.

This will sound like a stupid question, in Australia we don't have any predator wildlife unless you count venomous snakes and spider , are bobcats dangerous, they look so cute.

It's so cool to find this video. I live right next to Okefenokee and been hiking it as much as I can lately. I'm just about to get my own kayak though so I can finally check these islands out for myself. It's no surprise to me at all it was that thick in there. I had creepy moment the other day when I heard a big animal tromping through the shallow swamp water, about 50 feet away I reckon, and but when it exhaled through its nostrils it sounded Huge! It sounded 30 feet away, but wasn't. Not sure what it was.. But one thing I really want to do one day is get out into a remote part of the swamp and camp overnight and see all the stars unobstructed by the light pollution. Have you done that?
