Had the day off so I headed up to Folkston, Georgia. Didn't realize Thursdays were that busy but I was truly in for a treat. Ended up catching 14 Trains total: 2 Passenger, 1 Rock, 6 Intermodal (one with a UP), 4 Freight, and 1 Potash (BNSF units). Many unexpected catches lead to a good day out. Spring break gave me some time to get back out railfanning. Here is Amtrak's PO52 Auto Train heading through Folkston Georgia for points north. Engines- 831(P40), 814 (P40). Also, big thanks for 100 subs! Plenty of content to come in the near future.

Amtrak's Silver Meteor is sporting borrowed power and five private cars today, running over an hour late behind Auto Train. The engine (CSXT 9035) came down on PO97 after engine problems occurred and then lead back on 98 to be set off in Jacksonville along with the PV cars. Headed out on Saturday to catch a special version of PO98 coming through. Ended up getting to McGirts a little early just in time for PO52 heading north to Lorton,VA. Met a lot of raifanners there including my friend Justin (JaxRailfanner) who was there for this one. Engines- 832 (P40), 814 (P40).
