Speaking of fangames I’ve seen one before that was basically fnaf Mario kart before people knew about five laps at Freddy’s. I don’t remember the name but it had fnaf world looking characters and you could play as the fnaf 1 animatronics, toy animatronics, springtrap and some phantoms.

I think one of the main reasons Into the Pit is being named is to catch new fans up on the basic important plotlines like the MCI and possibly how agony and remnant work.

As someone who started out with no gambling addiction yet having spent over 300 hours into the game, I can confirm there are way more stuff in this game than it seems. Having achieved every achievement but Completionist++, nowadays I'm casually going for it as well as developing some mods.

Video games are art, but live-service video games are not. Something has to reach a finished state before it can be accurately critiqued, and live-service games never reach a finished state. If it cannot be accurately critiqued, it cannot be art.

I think as a gamer having a good balance between a live service and story games is good. Personally, I usually have one live service game and one story game that I play at any given time. the story game satisfies my need for a good story, while the live service games are fun to play with my friends and the grind is also fun - but only if the developers put in the effort and actually try to make it fun. I also think that some live service games have learnt from the industry mistakes and have started taking steps to ACTUALLY finishing the story (or at least the main story) I think a good example of this is one of my favorite games, destiny 2. They've just released their latest dlc which is meant to be a 'finale' to the overarching story that has been built up over the last decade between destiny 1 and destiny 2. Hopefully after this finale has run its course for the next few seasons, bungie will learn from the mistakes they've made with d1 and d2 and start work on destiny 3 (although I've got a feeling that they might not)

Games I have been playing are Lego Star wars complete saga, Kingdom hearts 1, Ratchet and clank going commando, Jak 2, New vegas, Warframe. Personally i only have will to play one live service game. If you play more than one something might be wrong with you.

You know it occurs to me - how come live service games haven't tried to have endings? It doesn't have to have a single permanent ending to the entire game but what if they were planned out like TV shows - each season has a storyline with a beginning, middle and end and then the next season starts. That way they could get subscriptions but gamers could get satisfying stories...

I feel like a lot of game devs has forgotten that the gameplay is a big part of the story and in the rush to copy and be more like Hollywood we have lost that magic we all fell in love with

There's actually one I'm pretty sure is physically impossible for like 99.9% of people now. I'm The Real Garry from GMod requires you to be in the same lobby as Garry. He doesn't play the game anymore, last time I heard about it.

People can cheat steam achievements so dont trust the stats
