We have been fascinated by the VIEW-MASTER and 3D stereography for around 50 years and read the respective texts for the individual 3D images on the VIEW-MASTER screen here on our channel.
Everyone can finally comfortably hear the stories while looking at their picture discs, without having to remove their VIEW-MASTER each time in order to read the text themselves laboriously.
We think this is a wonderful addition to the VIEW-MASTER!

Great work on these videos, but it would be nice if you could show the slides. For instance using a lightbox and closeup lense or a flatbed scanner!
Yes, I could and it's very, very easy for me, but without the 3D effect it's absolutely worthless and a total waste of time
@@susiundjohnlesenview-maste5559The packaging and words on the reels aren't 3D and you're doing videos on those. How about doing one video with some pictures and putting With Pictures in the title and seeing how that one does compared to the others?
@@loganq yes, that would be really great and also a good idea. We have actually often thought about it, but everyone can easily see a lot of pictures just google the country in question. Many RUclipsrs here have a representation of the View Master already tried pictures on RUclips to no avail. But there is no 2D imaging or 3D conversion approximately close to the real 3D effect as in the View-Master. That's a fact! And then, above all, there is the fear with the rights to the images. Isn't that one injury? The rights have been owned by MATTEL since 2016. I don't think it will be cheap to purchase the rights to the images from Mattel! Unfortunately we fear that a lawsuit will then be very expensive. Sorry, but unfortunately it's not worth all the risk.

I did not know an audio recording went with the picture discs. I think I only had the 2nd disc. The pictures captivated me. I could not have been older than 8 the last time I saw them on a view master. The little yellow dinosaur lived in a mysterious environment of danger and beauty. I wished I could hold that lonely, weak, and inexperienced little dinosaur. It seemed strangely unfortunate that it's charming and well-lit yellow color made it less possible to hide from predators.

I'm probably one of the few people who remembers and still have view master discs. I remember the discs that came with audio 😅
