Same issue here...how DO you insert these? Speedo web site FAQ says this: Hold the cylindrical part of the plug and insert the ear plug into the ear. Push into the ear canal and rotate until you feel a secure fit. There is not a designated top or bottom orientation of the ear plug, as ear shapes can vary. When done swimming, pull on the cylindrical portion to remove the ear plug. Rinse in fresh water and store in the care box.
