I’m from Llanelli and regularly go to ‘Terry’s’ to have a game of snooker and a the odd game of pool. I remember Terry Griffiths when I was younger. He’d take the time to stop, have a look at your shot and then he’d say ‘shit’ and walk off 🤣 Great guy. Straight as they come. He’d spend most of his time in Costa during his last years. Alex should have played this way everytime he played Terry - calm composed and not too drunk. When he played this way he was better than anybody.

Cliff Thorburn often bored his opponents to defeat. He takes so much time thinking nearly every shot and then spends almost as long feathering. Still, loved the late 80s to middle 90s era. Current era does not come close. Snooker was a huge TV sport back then.
